CureTheSane
Which songs do you think are awesome, but largely unknown and overlooked? I'll start with Take The Dog Off The Chain - Babylon AD. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YJN0sL8rHYk Easily their best song for me.

My Little Pony KarpetRydOFunk Posted August 20, 2015 My Little Pony Report Share Posted August 20, 2015 This could turn out to be a large list, as it'll be very subjective. But I will add a suggestion. Hardline's Double Eclipse is often considered one of the greatest albums of our beloved genre, but I doubt many would consider this their favourite track off it. grissolm
this list can get big: one old one new:
CureTheSane
I hope it can become a perpetual list. There are tonnes of amazing songs around that many of us may never have heard of before. I remember years ago Melodic Rock posted Harem Scarem - Hard To Love Acoustic Version which got me in to a band I'd not bothered with. Geoff
Yeah, where do you even start with a thread like this? I guess I'll list a couple of the best songs I've heard in the last two days? 'Really hits home' - Lixx Array (no video on Youtube) 'Can't stop the rain' - Lion https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aUdulZ-0h64

Geoff
We never said goodbye by Syre is pretty awesome and hardly known 'In your eyes' off that album is my favourite, which, amazingly, appears to have actually been a single back in the day. Never seen this video before. Very cool...
CureTheSane
My favorite TS song. Released on a greatest hits after being on the Strangeland soundtrack https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FMdWKK3D6xE
Geoff
Speaking of random soundtrack songs (from the 'Armageddon' soundtrack), at the time of it's release this was the best Journey song I had heard to that date. Still might be... Remember Me; Arguably Mr Big's best song ever is also just an unknown bonus track on their 'Greatest Hits' album. Stay Together; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F0WR3gOazWo My favorite TS song. Released on a greatest hits after being on the Strangeland soundtrack https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FMdWKK3D6xE Cool tune, by the way. Better than most TS stuff... CureTheSane
Gonna go with Wig Wam - Hard To Be A Rock And Roller Only thing the clip needs is bewbs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=93QOLOkb7lk
CureTheSane
Also a recent one is Wayland - Get A Little Thought it was a bit corny when I first heard it (kind of like the Wig Wam above) but after a few listens it imbedded itself in my brain and I was a bit addicted... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5FgGQdublxU
Kristian
Cool thread, that Twisted Sister song is great, never heard it before. Wayland is also good, very Kid Rock-ish. Here's my contribution: Crash n' Burn - 'Dancin' with the devil' Couldn't find a video for it, sorry. Rockhead - 'Hell's Back Door' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ro2HT9pKfgs
CureTheSane
That Rockhead song is damn good - I'm gonna check out more of their stuff Here's a more recent one The Poodles - The Greatest https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pvqarSnBQN8
My Little Pony KarpetRydOFunk Posted August 23, 2015 My Little Pony Report Share Posted August 23, 2015 Don't know if that counts as overlooked, as it was their single.

CureTheSane
Don't know if that counts as overlooked, as it was their single. Overlooked like the band has fairly widely been I suppose.
Guest MalcolmTucker
There goes a song by some hi-tech swedes that apparently never made it (but deserved to).

CureTheSane
I said "Go baby, you make me feel ah, ah, ah, ah yeah Oh, baby, you make me feel ah, ah, ah, ah yeah" How about Bad City - TouchMassively underrated album. Their first and last after the singer was apparently charged with sexual assault and kicked out of the band. This song has it all for me, hooks, great bridges, brilliant production, builds to a great crescendo at the end. One of 5 or 6 killer songs that I'd rank 9 to 10/10 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nbJhdGf584I
My Little Pony KarpetRydOFunk Posted August 27, 2015 My Little Pony Report Share Posted August 27, 2015 How about Bad City - Touch Massively underrated album. Their first and last after the singer was apparently charged with sexual assault and kicked out of the band. Yeah, two counts of sexual assault. What an asshole. But his voice was great, and the album may be considered a modern classic in a few years. My favourite track was "Don't Stop."
Kristian
Bad City - Touch is my second favorite track off the album, after Call Paul Stanley. Kickin' Up Dust off Backyard Babies debut album is largely overshadowed by Electric Suzy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fQXzHfis7HQ By far the best track on that album. grissolm
I said "Go baby, you make me feel ah, ah, ah, ah yeah Oh, baby, you make me feel ah, ah, ah, ah yeah" Yeah I know it kind of cheesy but I felt as a kid it was a song overlooked while everybody else talked about their hits like Christine Sixteen and Doctor Love, I loved that song but on topic: Badlands - Soul Stealer (1991) - I always thought this song was kick ass https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-g9RST4qH74

Kinda weird heard the lyrics changed like that but not a bad song. Would have preferred that they covered it and changed it more, otherwise what's the point? Probably one of those songs that do well in concert but not so well on an album. Not sure how well received the album "Paul Gilbert & Freddie Nelson - United States" was here, but I love this CD Wasted Time is one of the best songs. Also Paris Hilton Look Alike and I'm Not Addicted are great tracks https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wW7YKHTzfgo
