I don't usually pay attention to the winter games but Saturday's men's hockey game between the USA and Russia should be exciting.

The way the USA manhandled the Slovaks, they should be all over the weak Russian D. Something tells me the USA could win it all. As a Canadian I don't want to face them any time soon.

Was it, though? I didn't watch, but it didn't sound like much of a game. 3-0 for Canada, and Finland destroyed America yesterday. Not very exciting. The Canada/USA match sounded much more intense. I'm just glad the whole thing is over, and we can return to much more important things.

Canada dominated both the semi and the final game.

 

However our woman winning in OT after trailling 2-0 with under 4 minutes to go was epic and a real highlight.

Yes, big congrats to Canada, they would have won even if Sweden had got Bäckstöm in the team. They're just that good. But also gongrats to Sweden, Finland and all the others of course.
