Desslar
For this board, Moderatto, Mexico's answer to Wig Wam, is the obvious choice - Or if Portuguese counts, how about Angra?

Correct Matt - Some other names in the AOR field that are pretty good and worth checking out are obviously 91 Suite, + Elyte, Golden Farm, Airless and Hardreams. Fat Freddy
Hey Bob, still looking for Metal in Spanish? A while back I heard a band from Puerto Rico called "Dantesco," their album is called "PAGANO" and it's available from Cruz Del Sur Records. They're doomy Candlemass kinda stuff. I didn't care for'em much cuz I thought the singer's voice was annoying as hell, but I figured I'd throw the name out there. The whole album is sung en Espanol except for the bonus track, which is in English.

Cuz if so, no thanks... that guy had one of the most irritating vocal styles I've ever heard. It sounded like what would happen if Luciano Pavarotti and the singer from Grave Digger had a baby. I like some doom metal (early Trouble = ) but seriously, that guy singing for Pagano has gotta go! The band sounds good (when you can hear them under that singer's cat-being-strangled vocals!), he's totally holding them back!
zrock63
I picked up an ANGELES DEL INFIERNO "JOVEN PARA MORIR" LP at a flea market a few months back, I havn't got around to playing it yet, but it looks metal, studded belts, white high tops, etc..... SideShow
I was at work today and one of the Spanish plummbers was playing some Spanish metal, and I was really digging it, I didn't understand a word of it but the music was very good. Anybody know of any Spanish bands? I know of a band FROM Spain, but their lyrics are in Basque. It's sort of an ancient form (and mix) of Spanish and French (and God knows what else). The band is Su Ta Gar.
