Bloodgood

Has anyone heard of or seen Bloodgood from Seattle? http://www.bloodgoodband.com/ The only soundbytes I can find on thier site are the videos. They sound pretty good. Kind of remind me of Maiden or Saxon or even a little like Helloween.

Bloodgood was a very cool band back in the day. Their earlier releases fall more into the metal realm, while their very last release "All Stand Together" was excellent radio friendly melodic hard rock. "All Stand Together" is my personal favorite, but there are good tunes on all their albums. I hear it rumored that these guys might be getting back together.

Bloodgood is alive and well and supposedly headed into the studio in early '08. My favorite album of theirs is "Detonation" which is available for purchase from their website. They played a few festivals this year and some good clips are up on youtube.

Be warned, this is pretty light stuff. Let's hope this is not the new direction the supposed Bloodgood reunion album will be taking.

Detonation is My Fave Release with the S/T debut second..after they went

to a poppier direction I lost interest...

I like the 'All stand together' release but I do have to say about this band, they did not age well. Their albums sound really... and I hate to use this term... dated!

I just got 3-4 of their cds but have yet to listen.

I hope they dont get back together. Most of those reunion band albums really dont turn out to be any good. Believer might be the only exception to that rule...
