none of us were born metal,, so what did you listen to before you went metal?? and what age did you offically say "goddamnit everything else sucks,, i'm a rocker"?, my parents always listened to classical & folk music, and me being the oldest, i had to make the leap all on my own. I was big on Tiffany, Belinda Carlisle, Samantha Fox, Kim Wilde, New Order, & Men Without Hats. aside from a handfull of hard rock tapes (bon jovi, poison, lita ford),, i didn't really come to my senses completely until i got EXTREME's fist tape at age 15. this also prompted me to reconsider those annoying accoustic guitar lessons my parents started me on in 6th grade (which i stopped after a year). i was like "s*** mom,, i want an electric" (quote embellished slightly for more dramatic effect)

i like helloween, but i'm hoping they kinda to go back to the tongue-in-cheek style of the early deris years. its weird when you suddenly find yourself preferring their cover-band (trick or treat) over the actual band.

i have a 4 drawer ikea dresser for my clothes,,, shana has a 5 drawer one,, plus a 14'x14' walk in closet. okay admittedly, i do have maybe a dozen shirts hanging in one corner of the closet,, but those are the rare kind that dont have the sleeves hacked off... so i dont even go in there unless we get a brutally cold winter day in the 50's

i hate running, but nothing beats it for a quick cardio when there's no time to bike. temps are finally staying under 100 most of the days now, so i'm going to have to kick it up a notch... i can do the MTB in summer, but running doesnt generate enough of a breeze to warrant it.

just ordered Winger - Demo Anthology after stumbling upon the unreleased songs on youtube last nite. i had absolutely NO FREAKING IDEA this collection had been out for 5 years already, and I had written off winger after hearing the mediocre pull album. this is the first cd i've bought this year...
