  1. Crazy 8's from Portland, Oregon... played a lot of the same gigs as Dan Reed Network... but the 8's are NOT 80's rock like DRN... more like 80's pop but with a HUGE horn section. Very true, great sound. Another band from that time and I beleive down south way , no cd out just cassette were Shock.
  2. First band to pop into mind is The Dan Reed Network. Many great songs. King Of The Hill White Trash Extreme I am sure their are a million more that I will think of later...
  3. Kind of? Last May he was working on them... unless they are gonna be 50 page each! Oohhh, maybe a box set with one of them nifty little book thingy's ala Hollywood Rocks?
  4. Dude - the Pandemonium cd's are gonna be killer. We remastered everything from the original Metal Blade reels and there's a bunch of unreleased songs. Just waiting on liners from David Resch. I gotta drop him a line and tell him to get crackin'.
  5. Ohhh to get a chance to see Kix... you lucky bastard. Gebbia will shit a brick about that Crack The Sky show.

Check out the video: PM me Sam so I can get you my address for any product preveiwing... Also am really anticipating how amazing the Pandemonium cd's will be. 14. What a sticky wicket of a question Dave! Many many bands have had some very impressive discocraphies over the years. Here are some of mine in no particular order. 1) Triumph 2) Kings X 3) Enuff Z Nuff 4) Scorpions 5) Judas Preist 6) Rush 7) Kix 8) Dio 9) Y & T I am sure I will liken to a few more but that gets me started.
  15. It is so worth it your pants will explode! I think girls like that dude who plays Patrick Bateman. I can never think of his name, but he's quite handsome. Christian Bale is a supreme stud and be damned if I'm gay for saying it! Again quality book, movie and casting/acting. Can't go wrong with American Psycho. (But as stated steer clear from AP2, not even familiar with the original)
  16. I didn't have time, as I was doing other things plus there weren't any CD stores on The Maldives or in Sri Lanka I found time because I tagged out with the Captain of the ship... I did ,my wife loves to go to pawn shops with me but it was to damn long ago to remember what I snagged though.......... Thanks RocDoc! I was about to think I Have a problem!!! We all have a problem,we are all cd addicts with a bad habit for cd collecting and discovering kick ass rock n roll and you know what?We all love this shit Too true! My wife gets miffed when we discuss travel plans because my first question and demand is any pawn shops and we will need a day for me to shop... Then she says why? Its a family trip and I say: when else will we be back in BFE and have a chance at there shops?
  17. Well WOO fricken' HOO!!!!! Congrat's Dave glad I could help.

  21. How is this band Jez, there is a 2 cd live disc from ? at my local store and the cover art looks cool, but another band I have not heard of. Really excellent Symphonic Prog band that have influenced many others over the years (Pendragon especially in the guitar department) - Very melodic with some excellent guitar. Their early 80's stuff is a little more commercial, but non the worse for it, actually 'Stationay Traveller' is a fantastic album and my favourite of their whole discography. Most of their live albums are really good, although they have done quite a few, so depends on which one it is before I can recommend or not. If it is 'Pressure Points' or 'Never let Go' though, then I'd say buy straight away. A band really worth checking out, if you are into the melodic side of Progressive rock. It is this one! Camel-A Live Record
  22. Yea there was something about this broad that made me want to see more of her... Here is the 07' movie with the better ending. 07 Paranormal Activity And from youtube the theatrical ending only from this year. (Cheap scare warning!) Cheap scare ending only 09.
  23. How is this band Jez, there is a 2 cd live disc from ? at my local store and the cover art looks cool, but another band I have not heard of.
  24. Where The Wild Things Are OMG, what a complete and utter POS! Avoid like the plague. Warning: do not take your kids to see this, they will be climbing the walls in seconds and screaming to leave in seconds.
