  4. True that! I have held onto every last cd, but there are a few items that I held in my hand and went, "Ah, I don't need them." Igniter Demo cassette of an amazing Seattle metal band from 19990-ish. Lion-Trouble In Angel City ($5.99 @ Tower Records about 10 years ago) X-Ray Can't recall the title of the disc, but man I can still see it in my dreams. Hurricane-Slave and Over The Edge (Again at Tower Records aabout 10 years ago for about $7.99 each... and the Over The Edge disc was BAND SIGNED! l ) Okay mate, I have to know. Based on everything you do buy, what the hell made you not buy those CDs??? Especially, the Lion and Hurricane ones? Like I said just at a time when I had other formats of the Lion and Hurricane discs and was not as phat as I am now so just passed on them. Hindsight is 20/20 right.
  5. I'm surprised that the little guy is not suing this Marduck charactor. Pretty pathetic thing to do to one of your fans if you ask me...

  7. I wish I did, I too now am curious, so much music, so little memory... I bet Geo knows who they are.
  8. WOW! Some seriously amazing discs in that auction! I am not familiar with that Joker disc, but that Stitch disc is shit hot!
  9. Dude whatever. You don't know me, so dont judge me. If you wanna defend actions like this just because you 2 are "friends"...than so be it. Sorry next time I'll go mail out his fucking precious CD's while I'm vomiting all over the place just so I dont "drop the ball". So it took 2 WEEKS to get his CD's. God I'm an aweful person! Crucify me now. BTW it's "John". That being said...James did apologize in a PM to me, and did send the 10.00 so thanks for the apology, and the money. Now lets just move on. Perhaps more Hitler photoshopping is in order. Okay JOHN, apparently there is a lot of inability to comprehend going on today on the boards. My point was, a simple e-mail or pm would probably diffused 99.9% of this issue, being smart and spouting nonsense really is not productive. That said I am glad that James and yourself have settled and up and are best of pals again...
  10. I would agree 1 million percent, my first trip to the Phillipines was a good three months ago and it was hassle free! Would trade again and again...
  11. Well shit, stay off the board a few days and all bedlam breaks loose... As EVERYONE knows James and I are good pals, (hell I beleive I am good pals with quite a few of you here @ HH) we talk cd's and everything else in between on a regular basis, practically daily and one thing that James is is solid, dependable and as honest as the day is long! Sure he's crazier than a shithouse rat, but aren't we all. Jokes aside he takes cd's/music quite seriously and when you are dealing with him for trades and buys he needs information about his discs and he wants it now. I know some of us here are jumping in this thread to be "smart" and maybe add some levity to the thread. I am certainly going to pm Bern'd and check on him and the picture deal... Now my 2 cents: From what I have gathered there has been a disconnect between Jon (drumrman) and James (staryder1), obviously a communication breakdown. Any one knows that if you make a committment, KEEP IT. If you don't or can't SPEAK. Pretty simple. Like Yoda says: "Do or do not, there is not try." Jon, I have NEVER had any communications/dealings with you, so I can't voice an opinion on how you handle your business, however it appears you dropped the ball on this one. Sick or whatever a committment was made and you missed it with no timely attempt to right it. SIMPLE AGAIN. Now bury the hatchet, in each others backs and let's get back to the point of being here...naked girls, I mean cd's!
  12. That was a great book, but it was made into a HORRIBLE movie. If you haven't seen the film version, take my advice, Terry... DON'T. Absolutely god-frickin-awful. Backed that movie sucked with a capital S. Thanks for the input on the film, honestly did not know it existed... but isn't that usually the case about books to movies they mostly suck! Have you read the follow up to Desperation The Regulators?
  13. Some nice adds for less than the cost of a pint... Ten Hands-Be My Guru Real-S/T Quartermile Pumpken-S/T Icehouse-Big Wheel (This ones an Australasia digipac from 93 with a 3.5 floppy of stuff!) The Seventy Sevens-S/T Cry Of Love-August 25, 1993 (4 track live studio demonstration cd) Surreal Sutra-Puzzled In The Mind Itch Pain Feel-Reality (Wow! 1996 hard rock/metal from Arlington, Washington, mint and up for TRADE!)
  14. Double aaawwww from me too. Happy couple days after your birthday birthday!
  15. Metal D' Fuckin" metal!!! They sound real good, even here some early Anthrax in ther too. Let me know when you get the disc. Nice to see some babies thrashing about.
  16. Just finished the third book in Koontz Frankenstein trilogy and now I am burning through and oh yes it is tasty Desperation by Stephen King.
  17. Wicked Bitch-Black N Blue Love Stinks-J Geils Band Everything About You-Ugly Kid Joe To name a few... Oh and the entire KFD cd by WASP.
  18. Nick,, which release did you get? The original or the band issued cdr? Hiya bud, it's been released on a label called Flawed Gems - I haven't had time to check it out properly sound wise but it sounds like it might be sourced from the vinyl (huh...a vinyl rip to supplement my vinyl version...nuts!). It sounds pretty good quality wise what bits I've skipped through and the sleeve notes say something along the lines of "carefully remastered", on the rear sleeve it also says manufactured in Sweden and that the original vinyl came out in 1971. It's not a CDR but the consensus over at Glory Daze is that it could very well be an unauthorised version, especially since it lists on the rear sleeve of the CD tray a record label website that doesn't seem to exist - they are selling it at Amazon e.t.c. which confuses the matter more. I can't find mention of it on the Jasper Wrath myspace site...which may not be a good sign though. I also have the double CD anthology but it's a CDR from the Cannata website... missed out on the original. Hmm interesting and thanks for the information. James sent me the band released cdr version after he scored an original. From what I gather, as you mentioned there was the vynil then in 96 a independently released silver pressed cd (OOP), then the guitarist (?) limited releases a cdr version... BTW: there is an original at a shop here in Seattle that they are asking a cool $20.00 for... should I get it?

  20. Maybe it's my low standards, but Seattle surprises me daily. Still a pretty good place with many stores to chose from! That said STAY AWAY!
  21. Shannon Doherty VAVOOM!!!
  22. What's it like, mate? Song titles seem to range for brutal anger to possible christian influence to love balladry. Looks interesting. Giuff, you would enjoy this band, kind of like a Riverdogs kinda thing, maybe a little harder edged, but yes there are some slower tunes. The cover throws you, makes them look thrash or death metal, but far from it, great harmonies and some really impressive musicianship.
  23. Oh what a great fucking movie!!!! rest assured, it is only a matter of time before the lames in hollywood decide to take Suspiria, remake it, cut the balls off of it, and release it, without any credit to Argento! I was thinking this last night, was surprised it hadn`t been made and it will be ruined when they do so! I have heard rumors that they were looking into remaking it. That's too bad, but unfortunately expected. This movie creeps me out to the nth degree, Dario is a talented and twisted man. On topic: Kung Fu Panda
