  1. Wow mate, I f love 'Hells On Fire'....killer hard rock song for me. The b-side to Community Property is 'I Want Pussy' which im dying to hear.......if its a new song of course????? Cheers That song is not on any of the releases I have and I just played the Feel The Steel disc all daylong, I know it was amazing and quite addictive and the old songs are all re-recorded and sound really good. (Nothing wrong with the old versions though) I change my Hell's On Fire as the worst song they have done........that title now belongs to Eyes OF A Panther, musically amazing, lyrically the stinker. Everything on this cd is so awesomely produced, the way all albums should be and the new songs are real heavy. Best song as of today Asian Hooker!
  2. How many nights did you visit that place? Or did you just bring a suitcase full of different t-shirts, one for every picture... Looks like you all tore it up, looks like a lot of fun, however, the kind of fun that would lead me to "an awful lot of s'plainen to do!" For lack of a better name "Sticker Tits" is the bomb!
  3. True that! I'm amazed Dave has only posted 1,000 times, I guess they have been quality not quantity... More dirt Dave! Oooh, there's the noame of your book... Dust. (Kind of a play on MC the Dirt)
  4. Happy Birthday Dave! Here is hoping it is a great day.
  5. Big Boobs would have fit the overly sexual theme of the majority of the other songs and I will agree with Cpt., Hells On Fire is not a bad song, but certainly, outside of the cover songs, one of thier weakest. Again, just enjoying the debate. I have nothing but positive things to say about the band, the songs, the musicianship, the schtick are all first rate! Still very curious as to how the US version will, if any, differ from the UK release?
  6. Hmmmm....interesting...I get it "Kiss A Girl". First Def Leppard now Kiss, she still can't sing to save her life, but that hasn't stopped about 2/3rds of the performers on the charts today/yesterady and tomorrow. Maybe she is setting the stage for the rock album she is meant to do?
  7. Man if the rest of the season is comparable to that first drive by the Titans with the fake punch for T than I can't wait! ANd the Dallas confusion by me was the Terrell Owen link, kept showinghim in Cowboys gear when in fact now he is a Bill... Saw an add for the NFL kickoff on the 11th of September and its Pittsburgh and Indy.
  8. Thanks Cpt. I get most of it, but why not get all the tunes out then? I would assume the Danger Kitty stuff is not there's, probably owned by Discover Card. ANd call me dumb, but why drop the Metal Shop song just for a name change? ANd speeaking of Michael Starr, what about the real Mike Star of AIC, wonder if he gets apiece of the name? Reminds me of when Michael Fox added the J cause there was already an actor with that name...
  9. Woodson is/was a stud and man could he sneak up and hit people real hard! Amazing athlete and a pinnacle attribute to the Steelers team. A shame he got traded off and bounced around to no real fanfare. Off topic: when I went to Pittsburg in 98 for a game, thank you honey still the best present ever!, we ate a Rod's place after the game. Wonder if ti is still there???
  10. My bad, I see that being advertised this morning, but last night the adverts were showing Dallas and Bills footage in the promo? Either way huray for football!!! And like Madd, I have a tough time swallowing pre-season too, but I'm so hard up for some football, I will at least catch the highlights on sport center.
  11. Well, well, well kiddie. Looks like it is my favorite time of the year again, pre-season football starts today!! Sunday's game is Dallas against Buffalo. Predictions for my 2 teams: Pittsburgh at a minimum will get 2 deep in the playoffs and Seattle will pull off another amazing 50/50 season!!!
  12. Just finished up The Collector and it was a good Saw-ish movie. A wide open ending setting up another franchise...
  13. I would bet the farm that Satchel and Stix do! Still on the fence with Lexxi.
  14. Happy birthday, Mr. President...Happy Birthday to you!
  15. Got the cd today and there are actually 12 tracks on it #12 being Hell's On Fire from the Metal Skool/Metal Shop releases. Again not bitchin, too much, just wondering. Maybe Dave manicego can fill us all in on Steel Panther and all ther incornations, I would not be surprised if Dave has hit the stage with them in a mildly buzzed state to sing Paradise City...
  16. bro, barnabas came from jerusalem to my holy island! did it come with cut out hole?(barnabas, i mean) Nope, no cut out hole. Holy island. CD's today: Steel Panther-Feel The Steel (Roger at Wishing Well, my new best friend! Stellar job!) Vim-S/T Trans Siberian Orchestra-The Christmas Attic Office Space-Soundtrack Stanley-Clobbered Java Bean-Backyard Choas Jesus Christ Superstar A Resurrection (2cd) Denny Brown-Still In Trouble Sublime-40oz Of Freedom
  17. No cd's, so far, but I was given an amazing turntable recently (more on that later) so I perused the LP's at a local 2nd hand store and picked up a few. Jerusalum-Cant' Stop Us Now Jerusalem-In Her Majesty's Service Live In The USA The Choir-Diamonds And Rain Petra-Beat The System Marcy Brothers-Growin' Up Country (Could not pass up the fact that they played there own instruments, picked some awesome songs to cover, country tunes of course and the magnificant bastards autographed the jacket!! All that for $.50!) The Jack Street Band-S/T (This bugger was still sealed, not anymore, but...) Barnabus-Hear The Light (This one is cool, a christian female fronted group in the Blondie, Runaways, early Pat Benetar, guitar jam, hard rock, proggie band kind of vibe from Bellingham, WA circa 1980. You can sample the cuts here: http://www.jesusmusicoldies.com/hearthelight.html )
  18. That is the version I have, agreed, great release and thecover of this version is nice!
  19. Still no word, officially how the US version will differ from the UK, but, no matter to me since thanks chokalurok I nabbed one at Wishing Well for $16!!!!! Thanks Matt!! Here is a random observation on the Metal Shop-Metal Skool-Metal Sludge-Steel Panther releases... What is with continually releasing the same songs over and over and over??? I mean here is the track listing to Feel The Steel: 1. Death To All But Metal 2. Asian Hooker 3. Community Property 4. Eyes Of A Panther 5. Fat Girl 6. Eatin' Ain't Cheatin' 7. Party All Day 8. Turn Out The Lights 9. Stripper Girl 10. The Shocker 11. Girl From Oklahoma Of the 11 songs 3 appear on earlier releases, can't vouche for if they are different, but still? Like Metal Shop to Metal Skool why? And why drop the "Metal Shop" cut and add "Cleveland Rocks"? Death To All But Metal is still available through Metal Sludge on their "Whatever Happened To Sludge Volume 1 release from 2004 and Stripper Girl and Fat Girl are on both Metal Shop and Metal Skool releases. Why not throw on the Love Rocket cut , then I won't have to search out the Danger Kitty single? Not complaining, cause I think the gimmick is really great and fricking funny, just wondering? I must say watcking the myriad of you tube videos these guys have with the celibrities of the night are quite enjoyable.
  20. Yeah agreed. If there was artwork I'd consider but no way in hell am I paying for a plain old CDR. Considering that with a little help from our friends and a quick google search would more than likely locate those 18 songs and you could make your cd.
  21. Great album! Which release/cover did you get?
  22. No need for the sack head, we know what tasty little starlet is in this one...
  23. Just for the record, the Before the rain demos disc has been onsale from the Nelson website for a while now. It has 18 tracks on it, so will be interesting to see how many make it to this one. From what I saw, they don't have a single thing for sale on their site at the moment. When I was looking last night for the Like father, like sons CD, I found that and the demos disc to be the only things they have on sale other than photos. http://thenelsonbrothers.com/merch.html Thanks for this link, does anyone have that demos disc, kinda looks cdr-ish? In the link above their wasn't anything in their store. I must say while I was googling, ebaying and amazining their catalogue, asides from After The Rain and Because They Can, are quite pricey, glad I have most of them already and thanks to the link I can get the Like Father, Like Son release and complete the series. And Matt, After The Rain is just plain amazing!!! I very difficult album to match, but you won't be dissapointed in any of the Nelson catalogue. Kind of in the same token as Enuff Z' Nuff, who keep churning out quality releases year after year, none quite match the debut, but are all pretty damn descent recordings. Definately give Because They Can a spin, they acoustical guitar most of the tracks, but they still are vefy well written ad are excellent! Plus this one is still available on the cheap, where as Life, Silence, Imaginator are getting up there!$$$$$$
  24. Gentlemen, and I use tha word loosely, hope you both have outstanding birthdays, in your birthday suits of course!
