  3. I'm a bit confused by some of the comments? Is it because the gal is handicapped that makes everyone make a stinky face? It can't be because some broad is offering her self up for some quick cash? Did we not see some randumb bimbo offer up her big V in exchange for some quick scratch last year??? And if I'm not mistaken the responses were pretty encouraging. Just curious?

  5. "Destroy" is right! Can't see any of those "actors" using the word lightly, being able to pull together what the original cast did. Whats next? Cheers? Coach? Wings? How about re-making "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest"!? Kill me now!

  10. That Soren disc is a good one and agree, it is a rare one, but probably wouldn't fetch the Friction kind of $$$, for what reason I don't know. As James mentioned I have that Innerfear disc and with only 250 pressed I would say it is pretty elusive. And as Steve mentioned, I have some of the staple rarities: Concrete Jungle, Emergency, Villan, but would say discs like Storm Within, Dead Serious, Hello/goodbye, Tresspasser, etc... are just as rare, just as good, but unknown to the masses. The rarest cd I have, however, is from 2009! That's right, this year! Only 3 copies exist! The 3 discs were made at Ardent studios, one kept by the engineer and 2 given to the bands guitarist and in turn one was given to me! The cd in question is: TOP HEAVY CRUSH-S/T The disc is brilliant and unfortunately do to extenuating circumstances will never see the light of day....

  12. No shit and I heard this morning its $25,000,000.00 for 2 years!! That is sure one hell of a retirement package! The joke on CNN this morning was: "What's 39 years old retired and makes 12 million dollars a year?" Answer: "Brett THAT EGOTISTICAL MORON"
  13. Monolith-Feild Of Stone Thanks to Geo for turning me on to this one!
  14. Its worse than sucks it swallows... isnt that what you want from Lita? Yea, but I couldn't think of a worse than sucks, so I did the Rocky Horror Picture Show staple.
  15. Watched that District 9 and that movie could have been 5 hours long and I would have sat on teh edge of my seet enthralled the whole way through. Excellent movie and this feels like a franchise to me!

  18. Wow, nicely summed up Axe, nice to see some good quotable posts... Did not hear about Vick comming to Seattle, which is exactly what Seattle needs btw, but we will have to be content with wallowing in mediocrity... Seattle Seahawks= 50/50 team!
  19. I think the "fame" stems back to their father, he was a prominant lawyer in LA, he has been dead for a while and the mom re-married to Bruce Jenner (olympic athlete)(bad plastic surgery getter) and she squirted out 2 more daughters with him! And you are right Kim and now here siblings are becoming/being famous for being famous.

  21. Sorry Dave, was listening to some Infectious Grooves and well, you know... On topic: Official backstage with laminate and such: Ozzy Osbourne, Zak Wylde, Randy Castillo and Geezer Butler: No Rest For The Wicked tour. (The signed program is my favorite thing in my collection! " Rock on Terry, Randy Castillo" RIP Ironically Winger opened that show and they walked past everyone with their collective noses in the air... Pretty pathetic. Carole King City Streets tour, she is so cool and pretty god damn sexy! Pat Methany Guitar virtuosa and all of about 5' tall. Very cool to talk to and so damn shy/quiet it was real cool. Metal Church Blessing in Disquise tour, not that we did not hang with these guys daily at Meekers Landing, but got the laminate one show anyway... Almost forgot one other "official" pass: Alice N Chains (this was still before their big blow up into hyper stardumb!), Whiskey Fix, Sedated Souls, Tramp Alley. I had the privilage of lugging gear around for my pal Jim back then, hey lots o' beer, broads and music so I was game! Got the Tramp Alley set on vhs somewhere around here, should get that transferred... Been backstage a thousand times and met a ton of cool and not so cool people over the years, but those ones are "official".
  22. I too enjoyed Fan Boy. Funny stuff! And the fact that you could not listen to anything other than Rush in the van was great! And District 9 is on my must see list, Peter Jackson is a stud. Also The Goods the new Jeremy Piven flick. Watched that new Adam Sandler miovie, Funny People ( i think thats what its called)and I liked it, I was expecting something crude and pointless ,but the picture actually has a plot.
  23. "you lie and your breath stinks." Mr. Backstage.
