  1. Nice one mate. Over the last few years we've been seeing quite a few of these new Mustangs on the road down here. They're a very nice looking car. I reckon I've seen just about every color combination including pinstripes, but I have to say that your choice of solid black is killer. It's like a combination of the Batmobile and KITT.
  2. A couple from "21 guns - Salute". It opens with one of the best Rockers you'll hear, then follows it up with a Killer Power Ballad. Another masterpiece album IMO.
  3. His latest is another good one. This time featuring "Icon".
  4. Glenn Frey - You Belong to the City. This one popped up in my rotation today. I've posted it before in my thread lamenting the decline of the Saxaphone in modern music. This is pure 80s AOR perfection. I am a little surprised that even the softest of AOR these days doesn't employ the Saxaphone.

"a pinch of salt", "on average", "variants". Those terms (which are valid, BTW), are the reason why there is a vaccine reluctance.
  6. To a certain extent, with regards to popular culture, I reckon yes.
  7. I think you've gotta go with, Singer. Guitarist. Bass. Drummer. Keyboard.
  8. I think there's another recent thread along these lines. I can't remember who said it, but there was a comment about the fact that however cheesy or unpopular a band was, if your a fan, then it wouldn't be considered a "Guilty" pleasure. I agree with that sentiment. There is however one example I have that I would truly consider a guilty pleasure. Even though I love these tracks, I rarely listen to them, for obvious reasons. TBH, I sort of feel that way about Michael Jackson as well.
  9. I was reminded about these guys today, so I thought I'd bump this thread, even though it didn't get much love the first time.
  10. Solid choices, but I think adding a "best of" album may be cheating or a clever loophole. Well played.
  11. Treat - Papertiger. What a masterpiece "Coup De Grace" is.
  12. A great Artist. Severely underrated. He should've had more international success/recognition.
  13. Choosing a band called "Hammock" on a "desert island" list. Nice. Hopefully you have a hammock on which to listen to "Hammock".
  14. A couple from "The Mob". I'm not the biggest Doug Pinnick fan, but throw in Reb Beach and Kip Winger (plays bass and produced by), then I'm in.
  15. Without delving into too much thought, these are off the top of my head. I could spend weeks/years trying to narrow it down. Queensryche - Operation Mindcrime. Lynch Mob - Wicked Sensation. W.A.S.P. - The Crimson Idol. Skid Row - Slave To The Grind. Roxus - Nightstreet.
  16. I love a good cover track and I'm looking forward to this. As Geoff said, I'm interested to hear "I'm With You". Also, "Barracuda", "Nutbush" and "Bring Me To Life". The original "Nutbush City Limits" kicks major arse!
  17. Yeah, a great and much beloved Aussie band. All Aussies over 45 would have great memories of these guys. Their last single in '89, "The World Seems Difficult", was a bit of a departure from their usual style, but is arguably their best song. It's a cracker. On a side note, you'll love this story Cody. Their song "The Nips Are Getting Bigger", is about drinking, but back in the 80's we had a weekend TV show called "Channel Nine's Wide World of Sports". I'll never forget it. On this particular day there was an upcoming segment about Sumo wrestlers and they played this track for the "still to come" promo. Even back then it was a bit cheeky.
