As usual, I'll let a clip do the talking for me. A recent Joe Rogan clip. 14 minutes, a long one, but many great points raised.
  2. This one looks like a "Chiko Roll" poster (Aussie reference).
  3. If you want to see the biggest example of being ripped off hard biologically, then Google image "Ashton Kutcher's twin Brother". This poor bastard deserves some sort of compensation surely.
  4. MHR with a Country twang. I've always loved the "Tattoo Rodeo" debut, especially these two.
  5. Cher vs Michael Bolton. Both versions of both tracks are exceptional, but i've gotta go with MB for the win. Cher's 80s stuff is very underrated with regards to AOR. She was quite the Rock chick back then. I haven't delved into it, but is anyone else aware of any other songs they share?
  6. Nice one mate. I'll always think of you when I hear this. You've gotta make this the "Christening" track when you get it up and running.

That's fair enough. You've gotta keep 'em seperated.
  8. 1927. Australian AOR 80s Legends Their most well known tracks would be "If I Could" and "That's When I Think Of You". Both are played heavily on radio, but every now and then you'll be lucky enough to hear this one, which I did last week.
  9. 100% agree mate. This is probably the only non Bormann "Jaded Heart" album that I'm familiar with. I have the others (digitally), but haven't given them much of a go. Love this one though, even the Anastasia cover.
  10. He's definitely a Brit. Do yourself a favor and check out "Ozzy Man Reviews". It's a cool channel. The last clip is one of the funniest you'll ever see.
  11. At least they took after their Mother, thank God. I've always felt for the Daughter of Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley. Her Mother was/is one of the most beautifully stunning women ever and her daughter looks like her Dad. To top things off, Christie had another Daughter after her break up with Billy and she looks like her Mum. Ripped off hard!
  12. There are too many superlatives to describe this album for me. Absolute perfection. Lou Gramm and Vivian Campbell in a "Foreigner" goes Hard Rock Supergroup. This album is right up there with the greats. I got this one when it first came out and still listen to the tracks today.
  13. Gotta love Ted Killer album artwork too, BTW.
  14. Killer track that embodies everything we love about this music and fuck me, what an intro!
  15. If things develop with this chick, you could find yourself related to the guy.
  16. Actually, scrap my first guess, I should've know better. That's Richard Fucking Marx!!! Holy shit!!!

I know what you're saying. I'm certainly no advocate for the Church, any Church. That's why I mentioned trying to overlook the messenger. I still think his points are valid.
  18. Here you go Cody, have one on me....wait that doesn't sound right. Her hotness aside, these three tracks are played very regularly on commercial radio down here and I have to say that they've aged extremely well. They really are great tracks. I would even go so far as to classify them as Female Fronted AOR rather than Pop. I doesn't matter what genre, as I've stated before, I'm a huge fan of the Female Front.

The title of this video is spot on. Don't be put off by the messenger, just listen to the message. I was lucky enough to know my WW2 veteran Great Grandfather. He passed away when I was 15. As someone who risked his life to save our freedoms, I wonder what he would think about all this?
  20. Markie Post was/is a big favourite of mine. There my have been one or two or more "rubbed out" back in the day. I cannot confirm or deny.
  21. I can appreciate the Art when the self righteousness of the Artist isn't too overpowering. Like the musical equivalent of a TV evangelist. Love these two.
