  1. Ridiculous. Actually, I'm surprised it took this long to be honest. I must admit, he was pretty rapey.
  2. That was a good album too, but not on this level. It contained this classic that didn't make it onto the debut. I had it on the soundtrack for "Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead". It also appeared on the soundtrack for the Paul Shore movie "The Son in Law".
  3. I love these two and I'm sure most of you do as well. Full of Class and as smooth as silk. Where the fuck are these guys! You'd have to think that a third album would be a huge success. Even Keith Slack has done fuck all really since then. A few bits and pieces, but not much.... Frontiers? I don't know how accurate this is, but I remember reading that Keith Slack is a Drummer by trade. One night, the singer of the band he was with was a no show for a gig, so Keith decided to step up. Apparently no one knew he could sing and were amazed. The rest is history. There's quite a few recycled tracks on these albums also. Tracks I'd already had by different artists. At least six over the two albums, by my count. If I was making a playlist consisting of what I consider to be perfect songs, then "Surrender" would certainly be on there, no worries mate.
  4. I wanted to bring Metal a bit more into the discussion and thought that this is probably the best way. Of course, "Metal" is an umbrella term and covers many genres considered Metal. Looking forward to the contributions and hearing some of your favourites. These guys were always sort of considered as a poor man's Metallica, but they deserve more respect than that.

Ah yeah, I just realized that I called you wrong a few posts back. So take my previous post with a grain of salt. My views still stand about respect though.

Well, I could post a shit load of links disputing "your views"... and it's got nothing to do with "gut feeling". All I have seen is that "you're wrong" in my opinion. The operative word is "opinion". We all have different ones on many subjects, including music funnily enough. I don't necessarily agree with certain opinions, but to claim that someone's opinion is wrong, is very arrogant and ignorant. Pull your Fucking head in and be respectful!
  7. Nic Cage is always good value. As for Ozzy/Ossie, Ernie Carroll is still alive. I wonder if he's aware of this?
  8. You must've had a chuckle when "Ozzy Ostrich" made an appearance.

Ha! Ebola? So that's your comparison? Seriously? I will continue to "dispute away" thanks mate. Nothing personal against you, they're just my views.
  10. Pure Sleaze. Great video, Killer track and Killer intro!
  11. You could add "When I See You Smile", the Bad English classic to that list as well.
  12. Back when I was buying CDs I used to love checking out second hand stores and found some gems. I used to think the same thing, "Why the fuck would somebody get rid of this?" About 25 years ago, I fell on hard times and had to get rid of a lot of my CDs. I understood why these gems would pop up and I haven't bought a disc from a pawn shop or second hand store since. I can guarantee, the person who sold that disc didn't want to and they would have received fuck all for it.

I don't do the flu vaccine either. I also think this comment is very disputable mate. Completely wrong, in fact.
  14. Buy? ........ that's adorable, you're a sweet kid.
  15. I had to Wiki the meaning of that song. Nice one. You win.
  16. I recently posted this guy's "Sound Barrier" video in another thread. I love these types of retrospective videos when done well and he does a good job. Unfortunately he hasn't done too many. I've posted all the remaining ones (13). They're not too long, only about 20 minutes or so each, but they're very enjoyable.
  17. If you have a spare $1500 or so you can get the DDR reissue.
  18. I hear the new reunion album is being produced by Mutt Lange.
  19. The debut was cool, but very soft. It did however contain this cracker Stefan posted the acoustic version and it's just a great tune. Just one or two like this on the new album and I'll be happy.
  20. Ha! Yeah, that's the sort of shit I'm talking about. I didn't find it too bad, but it's very noticeable once you've pointed it out. I can see how it could irk you over time.
  21. Full Moon is great. Mark Weitz is one of the most wasted talents in Hard Rock.

The mask issue is nothing compared to possible mandatory vaccinations, IMO. You've gotta choose your battles.
  23. One of THE greatest albums of the genre. It's about as close to perfection as you can get. One of the few bands from "our" music to actually have a mainstream hit. "I'll See You in my Dreams" from Giant, "High Enough" from "Damn Yankees" and of course, Mr. Big's "To Be With You" received commercial success. "More Than Words Can Say" also received great commercial success. I'll limit myself to picking one track as a favourite. It's very difficult, but i've gotta go with "Haunted Heart".
  24. Not a section I usually post in, but I was just reminiscing with some older Aussie Pop. These guys were quite huge at the time with several Pop/Dance hits. Pure Pop and very catchy. The lead singer, Connie Mitchell is bloody gorgeous. She was formerly the Lead Singer for an Aussie Pop/Rock band called "Primary". She was nice then, but she certainly went for full glamour with these guys.
  25. You're spot on about Skin from "Skunk". I posted this not too long ago. Her original is sensational, but I think Oliver may have her beat.
