  1. These two were massive for me at the time. "Screw it" may have the odd filler, but I still love it. Everything about these albums just epitomizes the era for me. These guys were livin' the dream back then. One thing that I always loved about this music (MHR), Is that you can get songs like "Slipped Her the Big One" and "I Still Think About You" on the same album.
  2. I'm may be completely wrong, but an indigenous community isn't necessarily black. The term refers to the original community of a particular area. Again, I may be wrong, but I don't think there's such a thing as a "black indigenous American" and I can guarantee that the indigenous people of Scandinavia were not black.
  3. This one's good, but not great. They should have just made this a general movie soundtrack project instead of confining themselves to a particular decade each album. I don't understand why they're choosing 80s songs from 90s movies. Yeah, the 80s tracks are great, but it feels like they're cheating a bit.
  4. Insanity. I'll go you one better. This World is fucked. The concerning thing is that, along with the covid hysteria, this SJW shit is Global.
  5. Dragon/Hunter ×5. Known as "Hunter" overseas, "Dragon" were/are one of the biggest acts in Aussie history. I've posted five of their 80s tracks, but they were already well established with many huge 70s hits down here. The Dragon discography is a mainstay of Aussie radio to this day. As with a lot of iconic Australian acts, these guys originally hailed from NZ. That's not their fault though, so Australians have never held that against them.
  6. Yep, a cross between that and Dudley Do Right holding a Hockey stick pretty much describes your average Canadian.
  7. Seriously though, thanks for clearing it up. In fact, before I found out your name was Nolan, I thought you and Dead Planet were Lumberjacks named Pierre. I'm still not sure about Dead Planet.
  8. What's the deal with French Canada? Canada is a very interesting Country. As with Australia, you guy's are obviously hugely influenced by American culture as well as British culture, but the French aspect fascinates me. Do all Canadians speak French? What percentage of Canada is considered French Canadian? Are there non English speaking French Canadians? Pardon my ignorance, but it's always something that I was aware of, but never really knew the details. I've always found it interesting, because even though Australia has been heavily influenced by British culture, there was a time where if things had of turned out differently, the main cultural influence in Australia would be French. https://www.watoday.com.au/national/western-australia/australia-could-have-been-a-french-colony-academic-20121112-297dj.html
  9. Yeah, Rick Price is another one that fell through the cracks. His "Heaven Knows" album was huge at the time. This track was a massive hit. Killer AOR.
  10. That's crazy. Retirees should be allowed to drink whatever soda they wish.
  11. I'm not really into Thrash TBH.
  12. Yeah, that's why I didn't include "Sons of Angels". The soundtrack to "Sonic the Hedgehog" as well.
  13. Another Killer Vocalist with a perfect Hard Rock voice. "Hardline - Double Eclipse" is, of course, Legendary. I really haven't heard this guy sing too many bad songs. Even average tracks are enhanced by his voice.
  14. You wouldn't recognize Jack Jones if you saw him today.
  15. Bad Company. The original is as cool as fuck. In 2010, "Five Finger Death Punch" gave it a Metal make over that kicks arse. Using the term "Bad Company" in a Military context is brilliant.
  16. Venetians - Bitter Tears. An Aussie track from '88 I've always loved. Big time! I've also posted the extended mix. Back in the day I used to own the 12" blue vinyl single pictured in the thumbnail. Who knows? The single pictured may actually be my old copy.
  17. Yeah, "Beast in Black", "Bullet for my Valentine" and the "At the Movies" versions are the best efforts.
  18. Many bands have covered this track, but none have even come close to the original.
  19. Running Wild - Fire & Thunder. Very simple, but just a great driving rythym. Borderline hypnotic.
  20. Icehouse - Don't Believe Anymore. One of my favourite tracks ever regardless of genre. The "Icehouse/Flowers (Iva Davies)" discography is ridiculously good.

Steven Crowder always talks a lot of sense.
  22. I saw him in a recent Aussie interview talking about this and he was saying that, he sings Rock, but he's not just a Rock singer. I don't know what he's like in real life, but he seems like a really nice guy. Worlds apart from Gene Simmons. I think the completely different levels of respect they get from the industry and fans reflects that. I love Gene, but there's no denying his Douchebaggery. Paul's so well liked that I think even hardcore KISS fans will embrace this album or at least give it a listen as a result of that. Good on him. Like JBJ, he's more than earned the right to follow his musical passion.
