Yeah, this generally works for me. Nine times out ten it works about a tenth of the time. -
What band would you most like to see reform?
KarpetRydOFunk replied to AlphaMale's topic in General Music Discussion
Shit, I don't know why I didn't say this, considering I've been thinking this for the past couple weeks. With Jon Oliva, no doubt. -
Advise - If you STOP POSTING it should solve your problem... This is what I was gonna say, but I figured it was too early in the morning to be a dick. Plus, Geoff hasn't been a dick towards me since my return.

For me, simply clicking the title bar takes me to my last read post, so it must be a 'settings' thing. But if you can't find it, then I have no idea. Hopefully Dan will be around in a minute.

Like I've said many times, it took him over fifteen years to finally release this, and I'll wait at least fifteen years before I even consider this.

MASSIVE SALE AT RETROSPECT RECORDS
KarpetRydOFunk replied to Retrospect Records's topic in Record Label News
I tried to get that Frank Johnson but it was out of stock... Yeah, I got a message this morning refunding my money due to it being out of stock. Not really what I wanted to wake up to. -
I thought this was pretty funny. "Make love to the night, mothafucka!" might just be the quote of the year.

Well if you need help with transport mate just give me a shout. I've bought a Saturday ticket as well now although I'll probably only manage a couple of bands but hey what the hell! Gonna be a fun weekend James, hope you stay the course! Dan, be good to meet you in person finally! I'm gutted, but unless my next batch of ebay CDs fetches about £1000, I just won't be able to do it. Any chance of a little Farcry warm up show in London? Didn't happen for me this time round and the finances are going from bad to worse, so I definitely won't be able to make the HeavyHarmonies Firefest meet this year. At least this way I won't get a good kicking for my Treat, Poodles and Vain baiting on the forum... Hit up the MOR Cruise next year, and I'll see to it you get a good kicking then. Might even through you overboard.

Didn't know about this??? According to John's quotes on his website, he wanted to do a rock album rather than the softer stuff he's been dabbling in. He claims it will be similar to "Shake," his first solo effort, and I found one early review that stated it sounded a lot like early '90s Petra. Color me interested. Yeah, he's definitely adamant about it being a "rocker." But, in all honesty, he's got such an incredible voice, I'll take anything he does.

Didnt know about this???? And now you do.

Again? Am I allowed to ask? No. Yeah, please for the love of my lord and saviour Jesus H Christ, please, fuck no! The place may have been slow lately, but let's make it faster by talking about gay male porn or ass devouring... anything but this crap again! It's been a while since you a Matt discussed your weekend activities. I was wondering if their was a fallout between you two pole jockeys.

MASSIVE SALE AT RETROSPECT RECORDS
KarpetRydOFunk replied to Retrospect Records's topic in Record Label News
No, you bastard. Don't extend it. I meant to say I bought all the ones I wanted. Don't tempt me any further... I'm so weak. I'll check back next week. -
Could easily go either way. I really hope this does well. I agree that some films need 'updating', but if they touch Blade Runner, I'll kill 'em all.

Anyone else having a problem with the site? Most of the samples don't work, and now I can't see any page. -
I hate you Swedes. You have all the best bands, and all the best concerts. One of these years I'll make the trip.

Umm... KIX!!!! Probably a little biased, considering I know their catalogue much better than the other two, but that does not detract anything from the fact that KIX still! kick ass! Their live show, which I witnessed for the first time on the MOR Cruise, blew me away! They are so fu*king tight, Steve's probably the best frontman I've ever seen, and Jimmy's a little monster behind the kit. All I can think about is next year's cruise, and seeing these bastards again. Also, to answer the question why these three bands were selected: my speculation is that the name KIX is a combination of Keel and Helix.
