  1. I think it means what you think it means. I think the one in the middle is @Geoff
  2. Yes. It was a one off song, not news of a new album https://heavyharmonies.ipbhost.com/topic/40958-one-desire-new-song-from-forthcoming-album/?do=findComment&comment=827852
  3. I will be interested in this second album that never happened and what is on it as I bought the Unreleased album when it came out in 2005 and from memory it was promoted by members of the band, so was not a bootleg.
  4. Are you talking about Greedy Smith? He passed away back in 2019. Around Nov or Dec I think.
  5. Ok, I will go for the totally random mix too White Dutch "rappers" Actors singing Solo Sting before he went all rain foresty Old school singer with modern pop band performing Prince cover Bloody Australians
  6. I still play it every couple of months. Very clever song. Love the usage of Chuck a can and stuff like 19 by Paul Hardcastle, plus the random Neighbours sample. One thing a lot of people miss in the video though is the blue haired guitarists is actually John Deacon, Queen bassist.
  7. Missed the one last month. His latest one should come as no surprise though as it is one of the songs he sang to during his Swedish Idol run, and also appeared on his first solo album, so this is just him revisiting it
  8. W.A.S.P. - Reidolized (The Soundtrack To The Crimson Idol)
  9. I can tell you hundreds I really like but I aint gonna be fucking typing them all out, so no, your point is not proven. Your opinion and my opinion could not be further apart, but I aint the one saying my opinion is fact.
  10. I thought it was another Steel Panther style comedy band ... apparently not.
  11. And there we go, the whole point of my reply originally when it was said by someone else "Everyones time". I am just pointing out that no one person can speak for everyone. You don't care for covers, fine, but some here do.
  12. The Darren Phillips Project - Acoustic heart Snakepit Rebels - Dustsucker
  13. Once again, this is just a matter of opinion. And the fact that a cover does not improve on the original is neither here nor there. If it is still enjoyable, then in is not an "utter waste" now is it. Yes some covers are just cash grabs or lazy ways of recording new material without all the work that goes into writing a song, but a lot of covers are done because bands or artists want to show their inspirations. As long as a cover is not god awful (go listen to Paul Dianno cover Symphony of destruction), and they are enjoyable, they are not an utter waste.
  14. Nice to see Find myself on this list. I actually like quite a few songs on Generation Swine which I know is a generally disliked album. Hell, I actually prefer the version of SATD on Swine than the original.
  15. Some are great some are ok, and only rarely do I find any awful. Hell, there are even times I prefer the cover to the original (Once bitten twice shy springs to mind)
  16. That really isn't the point though is it.. opinion and fact are two very different things.
  17. Everyones? How you work that out? Some of us actually enjoy a good cover.
  18. He posted on his personal FB page so yeah, defo at home resting. Steevi Jaimz · Just to let you all know... I had a medical emergency here on the 23rd December.
