  1. I picked this up today. Sounds really great re-mastered, (not that there was much wrong with the original sound). It also has new cover artwork which looks really great. The booklet has a nice long band bio, lyrics and some nice photos. Definately worth replacing the old copy despite the disappointment with the lack of decent bonus material. For those in Australia, most JB HiFi's and HMV stores have it in stock.
  2. Yeah two of these songs are on Mark Free's album - 'The Last Time' and 'Dying For Your Love' (I think), I recognised them as soon as I heard them. There's also a cool cover of 'Tomorrow Doesn't Matter Tonight' originally by Starship. There are definately a lot of better FF rock albums out there, this one is a bit soft, but still has some great moments and IMO a nice addition to the collection.

  4. This one arrived today with my latest CD Baby order. Some very nice female fronted rock on here. Highly recommended.
  5. 58 - Diet For A New America (Featuring Nikki Sixx) One of the most unpleasant listening experiences I've ever had. Completely horrible shit. Avoid.
  6. No I've been wondering about this too. I've sent Roger a message and will let you know what I find out. Evidentally Roger is waiting for enough orders to come in before he ships them out, to cut down on downloading etc. Nowhere does it mention that on the website. If you pay for a CD and it is avaliable, then it should be shipped straight away and not held up for that reason. Not good business practice if you ask me. The new album is also being released by AOR Heaven in November. Wish I had waited now. Keep me posted if he replies to you I got a very brief reply today stating: "delays in shipping CDs so let us know if you want a refund ok? Sorry bout this but some health issues going on now ......." Doesn't tell me when it will be posted out.

  8. These guys sound pretty good, definately worth checking out an album I think.
  9. That song 'Alone' reminds me of a Tool song. Not a bad one, but not really for me.
  10. Those two video clips are from an early album ~2001 I think and are fairly heavy. I think their later albums were not so heavy and more my sorta style. 'Beatiful Disorder' from 2005 has some good songs on it.
  11. My ex girlfriend used to be into this band. Definately more for the "alternative" or "indie" music crowds, but there's no denying they do have some cool songs. Not for me at all but I do recommend checking out the hot babes in the 'Substitution' video clip.
  12. Good stuff. 'One More Time' is great. Had a listen to samples from the whole album and there's a few other cool tracks as well. Might be worth checking out properly.
  13. Why the hell put two annoying live tracks on it? There is about 5 or so bsides from that album! Yeah I can't understand why they wouldn't do that. Very disappointing in that regard.
  14. The 20th Anniversary edition of ...ish is out now here in Australia. Remastered, repackaged with new sleeves notes, photos & slipcase and enhanced video content. 2 bonus live tracks are included - Compulsary Hero and Propaganda Machine. I'm a bit disappointed that they didn't put any previously unreleased studio tracks on it.
  15. Bert Heerink - Better Yet Vandenbery singer, this is his first solo album I think. Out Sept 25. Lots of different song writers on here including Harry Hess and Russ Ballard. I'm not sure what to expect but I'm very interested to give this a listen. Also looking forward to: Grand Design 101 South Vertical Horizon Foreigner Dare W.E.T. Bon Jovi Keel Stage Dolls Treat And 2010 will be another awesome year if the sollowing are released: (all new studio discs I believe, except Taxxi) Blanc Faces John Waite Journey Goo Goo Dolls Nelson RATT Taxxi Terry Brock
  16. I think I saw LORD supporting Edguy in Melbourne a few years back, maybe about 6 years back actually. Was a very enjoyable night. Welcome to the forums! EDIT...actually it was Dungeon at the time. I've never seen a LORD show.
  17. The amount of times I've called Matty-Boo, twisting the telephone cord anxiously between my fingers as we discuss how each other's days were, and he has 'Mona' playing in the background... Well, it's pretty much a daily occurance. it is a crime to kinda not mind that song? Or even kinda like it? I ask cus I know someone who thinks it's alright
  18. Never did like that DeMont CD. But I agree with the rest of your list, all great albums.
  19. Here's a link I came across over at MR.com forums containing all 7 bonus tracks. Daughtry - Levae This Town - Bonus Tracks
  20. There are strong enough tracks on here to pick it up for a decent price, plus his vocals are pretty good. But Dave is spot on - there's no momentum on here at all. How many ways can you cut a ballad? It's a decent listen though... look guys, how many times do I need to spell this out - by hook or by crook get the bonus tracks....'Traffic Light', 'What Have We Become' and 'One Last Chance' are all superb and at least as good as any track featured on the proper album. Also they all rock nicely and balance the rest of the album. 'On The Inside' is very good too. Ive whacked the disc on my ipod with all these extra tracks and changed the running order around (which sucked by the way!) and dropped a couple of ballads so it more suits my tastes and I have to say it is now an essential listen. Here's my playlist - You Dont Belong Everytime You Turn Around What I Meant To Say No Surprise Ghost Of Me Supernatural September Traffic Light (BONUS)...........[utterly essential] What Have We Become (BONUS)............[very good with a great solo] Long Way (BONUS)................[good medium paced rocker] On The Inside (BONUS)..............[very good medium paced rocker] Life After You One Last Chance (BONUS)...........[utterly essential] I know some of the purists will sneer at this as theyve bought the sacred cd, but i downloaded the album from itunes and now ive changed it all around its 100% better than the original album...so go figure eh???! cheers Just saw your post Glen. So did you have to buy from i-tunes to get the bonus tracks? Actually I just did a google search, these bonus tracks are splattered all over the web. There are 7 bonus tracks all up.

  22. Apparantly there were 5 bonus tracks for this albums, all released in different on-line stores. A few of these were co-written by Marxy and Ryan Tedder from One Republic. Can anyone tell me where you can get these bonus tracks from. Preferably don't want to pay for them as I've already purchased the album.
  23. Entropy - Never heard of them. But very interested based on your comments there...
  24. Does anyone know how many of these 'South Melbourne' EP's were pressed. Mine is limited edition mumber 417 but out of how many?
