  2. The EP is nice little package - well presented. I'd highly recommend picking it up. It's a keeper for sure.
  3. Love em both, awesome albums that rate very highly with me. I'm still after a copy of 'Dangerous Attraction' as I have only ever had it on CDR. I haven't heard the first album 'Power Love'.
  4. Very surprising news, should be an awesome album when it finally comes out.
  5. 'We Own the Night' is for me an amazing track and definitely the highlight of this disc, but I do really enjoy the whole thing. 'All For Love' is not far behind it. If I had to pick the weakest track I would say 'All In'. So far this disc is top of the year for me.
  6. The samples sound incredible. Pre ordered this through NEH. Can't wait!!
  7. Just read this in the latest issue of my local Rave Magazine: "! Suffer are playing at The Jubilee Hotel on Thurs- day Apr 14, along with Teargas, Septic Surge and One Shot Salute. Suffer are also playing an All Ages show on Friday Apr 16 at Burst City with Insurgents, Loose Grip and Bad Taste." Is this "the" Teargas or another band? Does anyone know. I thought that band was long gone.
  8. I almost bought this yesterday when I placed an order with NEH but went for a few other things instead. I'll have to pick this one up next time as the samples I've heard including the two tracks Dan mentions above sound awesome. I haven't heard the debut album from them though.
  9. Yep Glory Daze is a good one for sure. Here's a few others that I make good use of... AOR FM Strutter'Zine Westcoast & AOR
  10. Cool track. Kinda made me think of Aerosmith for some reason. Will definitely be picking this album up.
  11. The only Nirvana album I owned was Bleach, still do in fact. But I reckon this band stinks, the number of horrible sounding songs they wrote far far far outnumbers the few decent ones they had.
  12. There's a good review of Moonshine Cafe at Glorydaze If it sounds like your sorta thing, you can listen to some samples here at the bands own website or over at CD Baby where the band has all 5 of their CD's selling for $5 each.
  13. Yeah I like what I heard. Good stuff.
  14. Does anyone know of this band and what they sound like? I saw them over at the main site and there are no comments, just looks interesting. Moonshine Cafe (2002) Angora Records (Sweden) RTS002 Daniel Nilson Vocals, Guitars, Keyboards, Drums Kenneth Avergren Bass, Keyboards Patrik Sviberg Drums Simon Rollnick Drums Orion X Seeing Is Believing Patiently Waiting Moonshine Café Tainted Love (Edward Cobb) She Fading Away Don't Wait Too Long Just Walk By Slow Down Sandra Is Leaving Open Your Eyes Wisdom's Place Under The Surface (2004) Angora Records (Sweden) RTS004 Daniel Nilson Vocals, Guitars, Keybords, Drums Kenneth Avergren Bass Simon Rollnick Drums Without A Warning First To Go I'm Falling Down Wait 'Til Tomorrow Carlas Path Mountains Better Days Another Day Is Dawning Stranger In The End
  15. There's a two in one CD by this band I think...hoping to pick it up sometime.
  16. Some very nice new 'Shit' there is too bro. You aren't gonna go out for at least a month with that lot Sweet Comfort Band - Breakin' Ice (Ltd Edition) Remaster Sweet Comfrot Band - Hold On Tight (Ltd Ediiton) Remaster Actually I just got back from a night out. Saw this awesome cover band playing Unskinny Bop, Ugly Kid Joe and stuff like that was an awesome night. Man I'm so broke right now.
  17. The lead singer from Love 'N Rebellion just uploaded this video to YouTube. It's the clip for 'Hold On' from their 1995 EP which was featured on RAGE here in Australia. Hold On - YouTube Video
  18. Wowser. Nice haul mate. Which lucky online vendor reaped these rewards? AOR Heaven this time. Cost a small fortune. This is what I've been doing lately though, putting in one big order with either AOR Heaven or NEH every 3-4 months rather than making lots of smaller purchases.
  19. My latest order of new shit arrived today: Serpentine - A Touch of Heaven Rick Springfield - From the Vault Stage Dolls - Always The Ladder - S/T (Wounded Bird re-issue) Shylock - RockBuster Treat - Coup De Grace Wig Wam - Non Stop Rock'N'Roll Newman - The Art of Balance Crazy Lixx - New Religion FM - Metropolis Giant - Promise Land Brian Howe - Circus Bar Keel - Streets of Rock & Roll N.O.W - Force of Nature Saraya - S/T (YesterRock re-issue) Auras - New Generation
  20. Was just listening to some Roxette myself. 'Fading Like A Flower' - I love that song. If you like Hoodoo Gurus, I recommend their Ampology release which is a really good 2 disc best of and their DVD called 'Tunnel Vision' which is just packed with videos and rarities. Very cool.
  21. Jez, which label remastered these? 'Retroactive' - never heard of them before. These are really very nice Limited Edition Digipacks with the stunning artwork on full show. I've got 'Hold On Tight' and 'Breakin' The Ice' on the way aswell, but theses 3 were the really great releases from their discography, especially 'Cutting Edge' and the Elefante produced 'Perfect Timing. I got mine from Amazon over here, but CD Baby are stocking them. http://www.cdbaby.com/Search/U3dlZXQgY29tZm9ydCBiYW5k/0 Awesome, I'll be checking these out for sure. 'Perfect Timing' is a great album. I haven't heard much else though.
  22. I'm not sure if it can be done easily but it would be good to see the navagation at the bottom of each page as well as at the top. By this I mean the part that looks like this: Heavy Harmonies Forums > The Music! > Music Polls No big deal but would be cool.
  23. Just heard some news about the upcoming John Waite release. It seems it will be a 5 track EP (no album) with a country rock guitar vibe to it. Mark Spiro is involved with song writing. I'm pretty disappointed that it's only going to be an EP. Has anyone heard any different. On a side note, I just heard an awesome live version of 'Missing You'. You can hear it by downloading the John Waite - Live At the Tower 1985 Bootleg from here.
  24. Yep a new album from these guys would be very welcome. Personally I thought the production on USA-UK was just fine. And I really enjoyed nearly every track - just two average songs by memory.
