Far too laid back and ballad heavy for my liking. Really like tracks Heartbeat, Brooklyn & Change Your Heart. Most of the rest is Zzzzz 😴

sweden, Finland & Denmark have lower populations than London. If those countries were faced with 2000 deaths a day and no vaccine they would 💯 lockdown. Covid is now just a normal flu strain and not in any way overly harmful (even though I've got long covid which is f annoying) so no country should have any restrictions anymore. It pales against the original strains. However, if there was a new virus with no vaccine again and deaths starting stacking up, of course countries would lock down.

not when they are faced with 2000 deaths a day like in the UK. Lockdown would be imposed 💯
-
I have to agree - I am 100% sure that the UK government feel that the initial lockdown not only helped in curbing the spread of the virus but also saved 1000s of lives - especially amongst the old and vulnerable sections of our population. If there was another deadly outbreak of a virus for which there was no vaccine then I would bet absolutely that they would lockdown again without any hesitancy.

79-83 are all great years with many classic albums but it's the sheer volume of great releases in 1989 and prob 1990 too which make them special.
-
I get the appeal of vinyl - cover art, sound quality etc, but cassettes?? err no. Tangle too easily, really inconvenient to find tracks, sound not great.
-
all their best songs are on Jump the Gun. partners in Crime, Dont settle for less, Over and Out, Savage ....... one of those.

nope I pretty much think a lot of fans would be shaking their heads too. at the end of the day I guess it's just how it done - Dua Lipa pretty much aces every video she does, looks sexy as fuck and everyone loves it. I'm afraid Chezs vid just falls in the slightly tacky territory with stills of her arse with demin disappearing to infinity - its like Femme Fatale all over again. Like I said I couldn't give 2 shits - happy to ogle it once but I have no desire to return to it - surely that's the point of a video to watch it over and over again and I think this video will not attract repeat views from a lot of her fans IMHO
-
anyone can judge whatever they want. That's life and that's a fan's right. As I said I don't care what she does and am perfectly happy to stare at her arse but it will put a lot of fans off as it was pretty cringe and tacky in the 80s and is even more so now.

Video doesn't bother me one bit. but I do kinda get the comments around why she's doing it. Doesn't need to. Let the songs do the talking
