Wow, that sounds like a lot. I wonder how much a gallon is compared to a litre. We're paying aud$1.30 per litre these days, which is f*cking ridiculous. I wonder if it adds up the same. I'll be interested to find out and may even find some measurement converter on the net. Maybe.

Okay, so I just went to a converter and if my calculations are correct you guys are paying approx usd$0.61 per litre... which is about aud$0.80 (compared to us paying aud$1.30)!!! If I'm right, that is pretty much 1980's petrol prices here in Australia. You guys are living in a petrol paradise, if I'm right. I think I am... I think.

I don't understand the metric system at all, G, so I'll take your word for it... All I know is that it's costin' me WAY too f**kin' much per week just to drive to and from work...

I passed another station on the way here that was $2.92 so I thought to myself "Wow, I actually got off cheap." It hasn't hit the three dollar mark here in Jersey yet but I'm sure it will soon...

By the way, G, I love your use of the word "petrol." That word is totally alien in the US. I remember when I was a kid I was on my way to a Boy Scout camp-out in a van with a bunch of other kids and parents, and the guy driving was originally from England. On the way there he said to my Dad (who was riding shotgun) "We're going to need to stop soon, I need more petrol" and my father was like "You need more WHAT?" :)

Backed, Saint Nicholas. It sounds like our American buddies are living life in the easy stretch of Petrol Haven compared to us battling foreigners. With all conversions done, I think we’re paying around usd$6 per gallon in Australia. $3.30 sounds like paradise to me. As I said, we haven’t seen prices that cheap in Australia since the 1980’s.

I just took my "dressing" off my hand, wiped away big chuncks of dried blood which were clinging to the two metal prongs sticking out the back of my hand, and then I applied a new bandaging. Surprisingly, didn't hurt at all. The prongs look like a part of my person now. I am f*cking dreading the moment they pry them from my hand. Quivering just thinking of it.

    • It's ok. I think people know I am a massive Crue fan, and I like a lot of stuff by them that people hate (the Generation Swine album for example) but the only newer original song I have cared about them in recent years was The Dirt. Everything else has been either meh or crap. I did also like their cover of Like a virgin, which I know a lot of peeps didn't like, so it's not like I am just craving the good old days. I would be happy if we could get a song close to Afraid, Saints of Los Angeles or the aforementioned The Dirt. I think songs like that will be few and far between sadly.
    • Have to agree. Although my expectations were that it would be absolutely horrible like Dogs of War lol. Still far away from classic Motley Crue but I at least made it all the way through this one so that's a positive. Still nothing to write home about but at least it rocks fairly well and there's a semblance of a song there.
