Just starting The Darkness 'One way ticket...' and just finished listening to the best of Terra Nova. Man, those 5 bonus tracks are awful.

Brass Kitten - Across America

This gets better and better each time i listen to it!

Not familiar with that, what's it sound like?

If you've heard their first album "EZ N' Pretty" , then this album always struck me as a harder rocking version of that one (i like their first one as well, though).

If not, i would describe this as a hard rock album with a tinge of glam, having vocals that have a hint of Sebastian Bach & Mark Slaughter. I disliked the vocals at first, but they've grown on me.

Sounds good, I've heard their name a million or so times, but never knew what they sounded like. I'll have to have a look. :drink:

One could also compare them to Every Mothers Nightmare I think. They're a cool band, but for me there were not too many killer hard rockers on display. I must say, though, that 'Too far gone' is one of the best 80's metal-type ballads I ever heard ans should have rivalled 'Heaven' for airplay back in the day. Stunning song, cool disc.

Man, that Receiving End of Sirens album I was listening to was great. Now listening to The Way 'Frequency of spirit', which is not to my likings so far. Track 3 sounds cool though.

Yeah, that The Way album ended up being pretty good. I like it. Now listening to Thousand Foot Crutch 'The art of breaking'. I like these guys.

Tin Drum - 'Drums of war' (Wow, I've had the compilation disc they have out there for ages so I've heard half these tracks, but I had no idea the other tracks would be so good too. Brilliant stuff. Love it!!!)
