MAGICTOUCH
This one sounds hauntingly familiar to me, but I did a forum search and went back to late March of 2005 and I couldn't find anything, so if it has been done then we can just catch up with the newer people...or you can just sue me! My choice on this one is easy: Piece Of Mind
chocularok
Tough one...Killers, Number of the Beast, & Piece of Mind are all excellent. I went with the Number of the Beast...hard to argue with an album that has 22 Acacia Ave, The Prisoner, & Hallowed Be Thy Name on it. relivinthe80's
I also went with Piece of Mind got to love "Die With Your Boots On" & "Trooper"
2023 Gold Donors headbanger4life Posted January 16, 2006 2023 Gold Donors Report Share Posted January 16, 2006 They have a lot of great stuff but I find myself playing Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son a lot more often.
Jez
Number of the Beast for me. Difficult choice as I like most of the Maiden albums alot, new stuff included. I still get a big kick out of the S/T aswell.
heaven&hell
666 THE NUMBER OF THE BEAST !!!!!!!!!!
Doksdad
Seventh Son but Number of the Beast is close behind.....also like the Somewhere In Time album.
Kim_Hp
After some serious thinking I went with Seventh Son. Closely following are Powerslave and Somewhere in Time. Don't get me wrong though, I love their early stuff too... just think their mid to late 80's albums were the most consistent.
Torch
The Number of the Beast followed by Killers and Piece of Mind. I also went with Piece of Mind got to love "Die With Your Boots On" & "Trooper" <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Trooper is a great song but DWYBO is not, it's not as bas as Sun & Steel tho. I've always wondered why they insisted on playing DWYBO live and now I know - They play it just for you.
Evil Rick
Seventh Son with Somewhere In Time second.
nightwolf
seventh son of a seventh son for me its just a well rounded album in my book maiden never topped it .adrian smith left the band after this release & maiden suffered for it they lost there melodic edge
Fat Freddy
You cant' go wrong with anything through SEVENTH SON OF A SEVENTH SON, but for me, "THE" Maiden album is still NUMBER OF THE BEAST. This one is a no-brainer for me

Blue Charvel
Number of the Beast, but not by much... I loved everything fromthe s/t right up through Powerslave... tough call... After that, I liked most of them, but none of them as much as the first five releases.
arsmagnarecordings
I'm surprised that no one chose Poweslave. It's in my top 3, but I would have figured there would be someone putting it at the top.
heaven&hell
Where's all the Blaze Bayley fans? LOL
Rhodeislandrock
I'm surprised that no one chose Poweslave. It's in my top 3, but I would have figured there would be someone putting it at the top. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I almost put Powerslave as my top choice for nostalgia reasons but I had to go with Piece Of Mind. I started with Piece and worked my way back thru the catalog but I picked Powerslave up the day it came out. Add the tour and live album and Powerslave is basically what I remember from back in the day. Powerslave is my #2 and Number a close 3rd. heaven&hell
It's nice to see Brave new World getting some votes. I think the last two Maiden albums have been great. I can't wait until the new one comes out. UP THE IRONS!!!!!!
Fat Freddy
Where's all the Blaze Bayley fans? LOL <{POST_SNAPBACK}> There are Blaze Bayley fans?? Nothin' against him as a person, I'm sure he's a nice guy and all, but as far as I'm concerned THE X FACTOR and VIRTUAL XI should be
