CASINO JACK (Kevin Spacey), ehhh... ok, can't really recommend. For me, being based on true events was a distraction for this one.

I did recently watch a Classic Artists DVD on JETHRO TULL, I loved this one! Even had some bonus features including a short film. This dvd has been on "very long wait" in my queue for over a year, didn't think it would ever come :)

I know it's been out for years, but just saw FORGETTING SARAH MARSHALL, I had never seen it before. I liked it very much, for a modern comedy, it actually had some heart. It is also full of actors I have come to enjoy fairly recently. A nice treat, recommend :)

"Alpha and Omega" with my sons. Cute but instantly forgettable CGI cartoon about a pair of misplaced wolves trying to find their way home.

"Skyline"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nya6qDsxDuE

A mish-mash of "Cloverfield" and "Independence Day," with a group of annoying high-rise dwellers trying to escape an alien invasion of L.A. Some purty special effects but not much else. Skip it.

I thought it was great fun until the last five minutes when it went from Science Fiction to Science Stupid.

Next Three Days

With Russell Crowe, Elizabeth Banks, Olivia Wilde. A pretty good movie about a guy breaks his wife out of prison after she's been fasley imprisoned for murder(or has she?). A much better movie than I was expecting. Or for fans of the great but cancelled to soon fox tv show The Black Donnelly's there was not one and not two but three former cast members of that show in this movie.

Oh yeah, it was fun for a while when them big ole alien thingies were stompin' on stuff and vacuuming people up into the sky, but it started falling apart around the 1/2 way point for me. To me it felt like a SyFy Channel movie with delusions of grandeur (and a gazillion dollar FX budget).
