Another huge favourite of mine from the Golden decade.

This is a song that could've been sung in a Tavern 300 years ago.

I find it hard to snap out of an 80'S Pop mood sometimes.

Here's another favourite from '85 by "Sly Fox" .

Fucking classic! 👍

When I think back to the 80s, this is one of the first pop songs that comes to mind…

They had a decent hit with "China in your Hand" also.

Here's 6 of the best, spanning different genres. That's what was great about 80's Pop.

I believe Mr.AOR is familiar with the last track. A Killer that just sneaks into the 80's.

Another one that would be in my top ten.

The problem with a top ten though is, there's only ten spots.

I still think I'd lock this one in.

80's Perfection!

Here's 4 great Aussie tracks.

I'd be interested to know if any of these songs are well know outside of Australia.

Many memories for me with these ones.

Dusty, you know how many people come in the shop for the album which features " Send Me an Angel"? When we tell them would get for them, we will get through Discogs and they have pay over $AuD200 they forget about very quickly.

It features on the "Rad" ("Hell Track") soundtrack, alongside a couple of obscure, Killer John Farnham tracks.

Is that the album you're talking about?

This is the best option and the one I went with. It's a German release. They were a pretty big deal in Germany.

The Real Life track is on their debut, Heart Land and many compilations

The Franham tracks aren't any of best of or album.

The " Rad" soundtrack is not on CD.

Here's the two Killer Farnham tracks.

I remember seeing "Hell Track" at the cinema a couple of times back in the day.

I loved it.

It wasn't until many years later that I found out it's original title was "Rad".

Swanee - Temporary Heartache.

Another Aussie one.

A track from a compilation album (cassette) I had called "Rocktrip '82".

I was 10 years old and this song is an absolute time machine for me.

The lead singer is John Swan, the brother of Jimmy Barnes.

    • It's ok. I think people know I am a massive Crue fan, and I like a lot of stuff by them that people hate (the Generation Swine album for example) but the only newer original song I have cared about them in recent years was The Dirt. Everything else has been either meh or crap. I did also like their cover of Like a virgin, which I know a lot of peeps didn't like, so it's not like I am just craving the good old days. I would be happy if we could get a song close to Afraid, Saints of Los Angeles or the aforementioned The Dirt. I think songs like that will be few and far between sadly.
    • Have to agree. Although my expectations were that it would be absolutely horrible like Dogs of War lol. Still far away from classic Motley Crue but I at least made it all the way through this one so that's a positive. Still nothing to write home about but at least it rocks fairly well and there's a semblance of a song there.
