Little River Band - The Night Owls.

Here's another Aussie classic from '81, by a legendary Aussie band.

LRB were always pure class and this track personifies it.

Absolute Killer.

Love Go West, fantastic band, and guitarist Richard Drummie co-wrote Everytime I Stand Up from the Distance album Under One Sky and that track would have fit nicely on the Go West album.

Nice, but you forgot this one.

There's another great track they have, but it's not from the 80's.

Posting it here would just be wishful thinking.

This is another one that I would lock into my (infinite) top ten.

Not just from the 80's, but of all time.

Mrs. McEnroe certainly was a cutie pie.

Here's another 6 of the absolute best.

An eclectict bunch, but again, that's what 80's Pop was all about.

I've added the obligatory Aussie track, perhaps not the best known INXS song, but definitely one of my favourites.

Here's an interesting bit of trivia, one of these tracks has a huge connection with the Sarah Michelle Gellar TV series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer".

Anyone know which one?... and why?

If I recall correctly Murray Head's brother was an actor on the Buffy tv show.  Speaking of INXS, my favorite song of theirs would have to be Don't Change.

I remember "Stutter Rap" well.

Fucking hilarious.

I still play it every couple of months.

Very clever song. Love the usage of Chuck a can and stuff like 19 by Paul Hardcastle, plus the random Neighbours sample.

One thing a lot of people miss in the video though is the blue haired guitarists is actually John Deacon, Queen bassist.

Ok, I will go for the totally random mix too

White Dutch "rappers"

Actors singing

Solo Sting before he went all rain foresty

Old school singer with modern pop band performing Prince cover

Bloody Australians

Are you talking about Greedy Smith? He passed away back in 2019. Around Nov or Dec I think.

As Cap says, here's another "totally random mix" of 6 of the best.

What a decade in music the 80's was.

The last track is my obligatory Aussie track.

An absolute Aussie classic that has nothing to do with New Zealand whatsoever!

You can't get more 80's than "Adam and the Ants".

I think I've already made the joke about how adamant, Adam Ant was about his image, so I won't do it again.  ;)

Dusty, if you can find " Say I Love You" by the late Renee Greyer, would truly appreciate. Thanks. Or " Bop Girl" by Pat Wilson.
