Wagener also was a mixer and engineer on heaps of projects. I reckon he helped put a lot of the ferocity into the sound of classic albums.

It's not my favourite album (I love the self-titled better), but I think the production on Slave to the Grind is outstanding.

Holy shit, that's a whole lot of awesome albums. 

I couldn't separate 'Dog eat dog' and 'Point blank' because they're both near flawless for what they are. Not to mention 'Under lock and key,' 'Pride' and the Skid Row albums. Impossible choices. 

For production alone, I probably couldn't even split 'Dog eat dog' and 'Slave to the grind.' 

Oh, and it didn't click, but that's Great White's debut... that's a monster too. 

Shit, too much awesomeness. 

In fact, the most interesting thing here is how awesome all these albums sound... except 'Big Game.' That album sounds like shit, compared to all the others which sound awesome.

The Dokken and Bonfire stuff from this list. Some of the Accept stuff and Lordi' Babez For Breakfast' are worth a mention also. Great producer
