Two tracks of pure ear candy from the "Kung Fury" soundtrack.

The name mentioned numerous times in the first track is Diana, BTW.

The second track comes from an unexpected source.

Had a bit of a Frontline day yesterday, man i miss this band. While listening to their Almost Unreleased album i was reminded of  the short review our dear Geoff left on the main site for said album, and it is this...

"I get the impression this CD might just have been released to embarrass their peers. There are probably only about 5 bands out there who have official album releases with material this good on it, and here is an album full of amazing melodic hard rock, without hint of a filler and they're just leftovers! Truly amazing band with amazing songs. Best riffs in melodic hard rock, and an amazing ear for melody!"

Couldn't agree more mate, truly a band that deserves the ALL KILLER, NO FILLER tag.

I always forget about this one.

A great track from a great album by the epitome of a Supergroup.

I remember get this one when it was released.

As stellar as the line up is, it was Bob Kulick's involvement that sealed the deal for me, coming hot off the heels of "The Crimson Idol".

I didn't get this when it came out as I didn't find out about it til years later, but I reckon I must have got it at least 20 years ago. Actually bought the Jap import as it was cheap, but sadly no extra tracks on it.

It's very hard to come up with a top 10, 20 or whatever for any genre, but I reckon when it comes to MHR ballads, this is 100% in the top 10.

Also, considering it was released during the Golden age gives it more credibility.

This track and album was/is a benchmark for MHR.

Same vocalist, different band, same track name except for the missing "G", which stands for "Genesis", which is the name of the album this track is from by the band "Talisman", the very same Talisman that the vocalist was not only a member of, but used the "T" from Talisman to form the band name W.E.T.

Coincidence?

Such a great song. Amazing considering how small Giant were compared to a lot of bands of the era, that both Lana Lane and Bulletboys have covered this song. That is how good it is.
