PeterS
IMO comfortably the best thing Donnie Vie's been involved with since Strength. If you like early Enuff z Nuff you should like this one. Most , if not all, songs up on Youtube.
Geoff
I've seen quite a bit of positive commentary on this album on the forum. Sadly, I don't feel any of the adoration for it at all that y'all are feeling. The title track is a pretty cool tune, but sadly, after that, it's more or less and trainwreck... to me. Seeing praise for this and the woeful Unruly Child album makes me wonder if people are letting their standards drop in a low quality year, favouring weak albums because there's little alternative? Gotta agree with Geoff, this and Unruly Child are not very good to my ears....in other words crap but as always to each their own...
Captain Howdy
I could say the same here and question other peoples taste. This album is fucking awesome. To each their own, but to try to say I am dropping my standards because I like something someone else doesn't is frankly insulting.
Whatever Happened To Fun?
I’m going to agree with Peter and Captain that this is a great album and has nothing to do with the current state of music. But to call it crap is stupid if you ever like Enuff Z Nuff this as good or better than everything since Strength. Bottom line is everyone’s musical tastes are different but I can agree the new Unruly Child is forgettable.
Dead Planet
Yeah everyone who doesn't agree with my tastes in music is stupid...lol...

For the record, I really like the first three Enuff Z' Nuff albums and even '1985' has some good stuff on it too. But! I think this album is terrible. So I guess I'm stupid. And yes, the new Unruly Child is dogs balls.
Dead Planet
I also like their first 3 releases, especially AWHI , unfortunately everything since has not been very good IMO ...
gener8tr
Donnie's vocals take me right back to 1989 - 1992. None of these songs are jaw-dropping, but they're certainly not new-Roxy-Blue-terrible. Edited August 20, 2019 by gener8tr
Whatever Happened To Fun?
So sorry for the stupid comment. What I was trying to imply if you use to like EZN then not sure how you don’t like the new Donnie album. But yeah to each their own.
Dead Planet
No worries...I could have been less blunt with my original comment as well...

You don't need to worry about stuff like that. Tell me I have a penis for a face, the music taste of a bleeding ass and the IQ of a christian. You won't offend me, friend. Like I was saying, though, to be honest, I don't see how this is any way at all better than when EZN's discography started to go downhill. In fact, I'm pretty sure I'd find at least a few songs from all those weak albums that is as "good" as the stuff on this one. Completely on board with "to each their own" but you guys have really lost me on this one, and how/why this album is any better than all those bad EZN albums. To me they died after 'Animals with human intelligence' (despite arguably their best song of all being on '1985') - 'I'll B the 1 2 Luv U.' CureTheSane
I've given this some solid listens and now can preent my opinion on it. I agree that it's fucking wesome. Only a few songs that won't go into my best of folder.

Nightrain
Been spinning this one lately and getting more love from me. Very Beatles-que with a hint of early EZN, it's a fun record Shame it's way too short, need couple more tracks
