Gotthardline
Now this is more like it after the really bad last album Thats a great song , and the sound/production is back to what it should be
Geoff
That definitely sounds more like it. They must have got slammed for that last album. But this is nice.
kourosofsteel3
They just don't have mercy on me! Just came back from the liquor store and now this! I cannot wait for the champagne to freeze
Glen
Granted it's better than that train wreck of the last album but it's still a way off their top flight tunes. Kinda a 7/10.
Kristian
Good song. For me, I don't think they'll ever top 'No Regrets', that album has a special place in my heart.
All Nights Reserved
I don't like this one at all but hopefully the album will be good. Or at least listenable.
AmMaLaYa
Sounds a little bit more like their earlier stuff.

Geoff
It's not perfect, but the sound/style is definitely back to something that resembles their better years.
Glen
Jesus. you guys are being kind. that's a really average track imo. Esp for HSS who were perfection across Dreamin, Beg & Split.

CureTheSane
A lot of people here have unrealistic expectations. We've all been through it when bands change it up and move in another direction. Remember when Slang copped a whole lot of crap? Everyone loves Race by Pseudo Echo, but the core 'pop' fans of that band would have been pissed. Probably consider it a career killer. I'd love C'mon Take On Me II, but I know it isn't going to happen. So I'm prepared to move on with open ears. and my open ears are much preferring what I'm hearing now compared to the last album, so I'l listen to it and judge it on its own merits. Not my ideal HCSS album, but so far it sounds ok.
Glen
?? err no. Why is it unrealistic to want the band to record something like the run of 5 albums when they were magnficent rather than something which is marginally better than the last pile of crap??? I'm not with you.

I'm with you. Which is why I see this new stuff as comparatively great. I kinda expected them to continue with the direction they chose for the last album, so I'm happy that so far it's reasonably good. Will have to wait until the full album is out to judge. Glen
I'm well aware of that, but to me these last 2 songs are only marginally better than the last album. I'll check it out on Spotify but my hopes are now zero based on this output. Such a shame - this band arguably ruled the sleaze scene, but their insistent on returning to their earlier sound will kill this band for me. All Nights Reserved
That's a lame singalong song. Bring back the balls, fellas.

But who knows if there are a bunch of people out there who love this stuff? Maybe the Sweedes do? They're gonna pretty much think locally as they progress. But it happens. Bands change and I lose interest. Bon Jovi, Van Halen Bands stay the same and I lose interest. WASP, Iron Maiden

Geoff
I don't mind it again. This stuff may not be splitting ballsacks in half, but it's definitely going to be an album worth listening to.
Dead Planet
I'll pick it up on the strength of their previous output but I must admit that I only like the last song...Electric Rider....
