Hello all -

I have put together My Ultimate MelodicRock playlist and I want to add to it. My goal is to get 100 superb songs on it.

These are some songs that are on it. I want songs with big choruses, great production, and are melodic as hell...

1. H.E.A.T. - Living On The Run

2. H.E.A.T. - Breaking The Silence

3. H.E.A.T - Mannequin Show

4. H.E.A.T - One Single Breath

5. Treat - The War Is Over

6. Treat - I Don't Miss The Misery

7. Treat - Do Your Own Stunts

8. Treat - Endangered

9. Place Vendome - Believer

10. Place Vendome - Scene In Replay

11. Eclipse - Wide Open

12. Eclipse - Bleed & Scream

13. Beggars & Thieves - I Come Undone

14. Work Of Art - Why Do I?

15. Work Of Art - The Rain

16. Work Of Art - Fall Down

17. TNT - Lonely Nights

18. TNT - She Needs Me

19. W.E.T. - Brothers In Arms

20. W.E.T. - If I Fall

21. W.E.T. - Walk Away

21. Brother Firetribe - Wildest Dreams

22. Harem Scarem - Killing Me

23. Jeff Scott Soto - Find Our Way

Anyway, I could go on and on. Please let me know of any other bands/songs (preferably bands that are less known - i.e. - not bands like Tesla, Dokken, etc) that would be worthy of being on this playlist. I know there is so much more out there that I just don't have enough time to research...

I'm heading to California to see Y&T (my favorite band) for 2 nights in a row this weekend, so I hope I come back to lots of great replies.

Thanks in advance!

-Chris

... open ended question, mate, but there's a million options. I noticed you only featured recent songs from the last few years? Is that on purpose?

It wasn't really done on purpose, but it just happens that most of the songs I dig are the more recent ones. Thanks for all your suggestions everybody!

    • Cool song. If ADV is strictly hired to play keys, it should be fine.
    • Ooh, nice!  I'll have to revisit the first album.
    • Ugh... I hate you so much. You know I hate you, right? ;} I've never seen either iteration.
    • These are sounding pretty good.

Highly respected by fans and fellow musicians alike, this new album will add to the bands great legacy and underline the reason why Newman are considered to be one of the UK’s top Melodic Rock artists. • Imagine a world where Andrew Wood didn’t die and Mother Love Bone was still creating awesome music!
    • “My Icarian Flight” featuring the one and only ADV 😜
    • lol, this was my thought process too. What about Confess?! I like both bands, but not at the expense of one of them.
    • I do have to give him credit for sounding exactly the same as he did in 1989...
