Firstly that is awesome news & secondly that first track is a killer melodic hard rocker! Wow.

This sounds way heavier than the debut - and that production is just Wowser! Blew my socks off.

'Wild Forever' is a good track and yes heavier than the prior but looks like several songs from the debut still top this one off,

and why EP ? they should have release a whole new album

EPs seem to be a popular trend with alot of bands recently.

I'll take an EP over nothing, esp if the songs all sound like this. An album would be better tho for sure.

Yeah, definitely sounds a little heavier than the debut. The song is pretty good, but doesn't blow me away at all. Looking forward to hearing more stuff from these guys, though. Loved their debut.

I definitely prefer it when bands do full albums, but the EP approach appears to be more and more common these days (like darin said). From what some independent artists have personally told me, a full album just isn't always an option anymore, often for financial reasons. There are no longer labels supporting a lot of these bands and a lot of people don't pay for and/or support music anymore. If a band can put together enough money for a professional EP, they can make some money off of the sales of it and use it to further push their reputation as a band via shows, the internet, etc. Once they've made enough money again, they can repeat the process. It's kind of like the rock band equivalent of everyday people who have to live paycheck to paycheck.

I'm all for a band putting out an EP,BUT if it's a 4-6 song EP it should have 4-6 KILLER songs on it!!!

For anyone in the Chicagoland area, Loveblast will make their return to the stage at the River Rockhouse in St. Charles, IL on Friday, March 8. They'll be playing some of their new songs as well as the old favorites.

I would love to meet some of my rock brethren at the show. I'll be hard to miss in my zebra coat! If you see me, feel free to say hello.
