Diemonds

I went to see Wildstreet last night and a band called Diemonds was on before them. Now despite the lead singer, Priya, being absolutely a smokin' hot little spitfire on stage (black leather vest, pink bra...grrrrr) they sounded pretty damn good. So I grabbed both CD's one of which is new, The Bad Pack. I will report back once I have spun them but I liked what I heard live.

And I cannot help myself but to post a pic of Priya....but really this pic does not do her justice. Her hair was like a black silk lion's mane. I have a photo of me with her that will post later that shows her beauty a lot better. But until then here she and go check out their music too.

Yeah... Saw them 4 times at Rocklahoma. If you look in the "CONCERT" thread you will see me raving about them. Killer band... great people too. I mentioned tat they were the best band, bar none, at Rocklahoma. Glad to see others are digging them too. :headbanger:

EDIT - I might also add that Diemonds were also the hardest working band at Rocklahoma. When they weren't playing every member was on the grounds promoting the band. With a little luck good things will come their way.

This from the "CONCERTS" Thread when I posted about them after Rocklahoma:

Every year there is a band or two that come out of nowhere and blow me away. This year there were two. The first being Loveblast. Very cool songs and very talented to boot. If you haven't heard these guys yet... check them out.

The other band that came from nowhere to grab my attention was DIEMONDS. They hail from Canada and actually have a few releases already. DIEMONDS is a female fronted band that knows how to rock. This band by far had more energy than any other band at the whole festival. Man this chick can sing... such a powerful voice (and she isn't afraid to use it). I kept thinking this band was a perfect mix of Priest and Warlock. I picked up both discs they had with them and they have been spinning ever since. This was my favorite band at the festival. Keep an eye out for this band.

Still spinning the 2 Diemonds releases a couple times a week.

Wow, what a sexy ladee. Good enough to eat. It's a pretty cool song too - I'd check 'em out, and see them live every single show they played if they were anywhere near me. ;)

Just a bit of an update... Diemonds is working on a new release that hopefully will be out before year's end.

Diemonds was just added to The 2014 KISS Kruise this Halloween. Great to see this band is still going strong and continues to grow in popularity.

  • 2024 HH Donation Drive

Please support Heavy Harmonies! The donations goal is the out-of-pocket expenses to run the main site and this board for calendar year 2024.

    Donate Sidebar by DevFuse
  • Posts

    • Sorry my donation is small, but you know my circumstances Done It will be under name Andrew Sharp
    • Well... I mean... it's true.   Time once again to nag/beg/plead/insult (wait, what?) to help out covering Heavy Harmonies' expenses. Costs for the site run roughly US$195 a month, roughly the same as last several years.  So when I say "costs", what do I mean? It's the out-of-pocket expenses to keep Heavy Harmonies running: server lease, bandwidth, hosting support, and the subscription for this forum software, domain registration. The 2023 drive did pretty well, reaching 83% of goal of covering the annual costs. Let's see if we can meet, or better yet, beat that goal! The donation drive will run through Halloween, October 31.   Anyone who makes a single donation of $20 or more and has a board username will be added to the group "2024 Donors". This gets you the following benefits: A nice shiny icon in your profile showing that you are an HH Donor for 2024:  An increase in the size of your PM storage from 200 to 500 messages An increase in image attachment/upload storage from 20MB to 50MB Exempt from the search flood control (normally if you try and do a search more than every 10 seconds, you get an annoying little "please wait" message) No time limit on editing your own posts! This will especially be useful for those with trade/sale lists as you'll be able to edit them rather than posting revised versions. A warm fuzzy feeling inside that you are helping support Heavy Harmonies! If you donate $50 during the drive, either as a single donation or across multiple donations, you will be added to the group "2024 Gold Donors". This gets you the following in addition to the above: A bigger, shiny badge:  All your posts will be highlighted, because if you show this much dedication to HH, what you have to say is obviously more more important! (just kidding, but your posts will be accentuated). The ability to create a forum "signature" that will be added to all of your posts. If you donate using buttons on the main site, please put your board username in the notes section, and if you donate from here on the forum, please PM me the email address that you sent the donation from! Otherwise I have no way to tie your donation to your membership here on the board. If you are currently in the 2023 donor groups but don't wish to donate this year (or can't), at the beginning of the donation drive, your group membership features will revert to the regular non-donator membership group. Membership in the 2024 Donors group will last until the beginning of next year's donation drive, at which point you can donate again to remain in the Donors group with the same benefits, or revert back to your current member group. PayPal donation buttons are found at the top of all the pages on the main site and here on the forum on the right side at the top, or if you'd prefer to send a money order, check, or cash (not recommended, but I know some people prefer to do so), you can make payable to Dan Harding and send to: Heavy Harmonies P.O. Box 17021 Urbana, IL 61803 USA If you can't give $20, give $10... if you can't give $10, give $5... it's just once a year. (And if you happen to be fortunate enough to be earning gobs of money, please feel free to give bunches! I'm not opposed to having a sugar daddy... or seven.) As always, your support is greatly appreciated! -Dan
