Going on Vacation in a week and I....................

.................need a little help picking out cds for my trip.

 

I have a 20 hour drive there and of course another 20 hour drive coming back.

I have room in my big cd case for roughly 60 cds and I'll stash some cdrs as well.

 

So I'm looking for some opinions and ideas before I start this packing process.

Packing my music for a trip is harder than packing my clothes.

Skid Row - Slave To The Grind (again solid front to back)

Alias - S/T (a little lighter but good if the wife can't stand the louder stuff)

Whitesnake - Good To Be Bad (only a year old and a good mix of songs)

Babylon A.D. - S/T

Dokken - greatest hits (ya gotta do some rockin' with Dokken)

I usually don't go on to many trips without that Vain.

Great choices with the Shotgun Messiah, Skid Row, Babylon AD and 'Snake to.

I'm sure I'll take some Dokken but not sure which one as I've taken the last release 'Lightning Strikes Again' on the last couple of long trips and am kind of bored with the same old greatest hits so might have to go with 'Under Lock and Key' or 'Back for the Attack'.

I have both of those Giant discs but not really feeling them for this trip but they are good.

Some nice choices there and I'm sure I'll take some Skynyrd since my wife loves them.

I'm sure I'll take at least one Jorn related project as well and with most definately take some Tesla and maybe even some Purple(Coverdale years), Scorpions and Van Halen.

You can't wrong with Leppard and I usually take that last two disc best of disc but for this trip if I take a disc of theirs it will probably be 'High N Dry' or 'Pyromania'.
