Hey there

 

I'm from Switzerland and I'm listening to all kinds of classic metal. I grew up in the 80s and it all started with "heavy weights" like Europe and Bon Jovi.... but then came Motörhead's Rock'n'Roll and the rest is history.

 

Nowadays I'm listening to all kinds of heavy metal. Just all that whatever-core stuff isn't quite my cup of tea. But the old Romans already knew: degustibus non est disbutandum!

 

If I would have to name a favorite band I wouldn't be able to do so. Just too much great metal music out there! But if I really had to name a band it would be most probably Manilla Road. I very much enjoy this mixture of weird psychedelic parts, Mark Shelton's crazy voice and that old fashioned epic sound.

 

BTW: If anyone knows any other bands in the vein of Manilla Road, Legend (US), Centaurus (Iron Works/Azra), Crowhaven, Winterhawk, Slauter Xstroyes let me know too please!
