Close results!!! However I don't see the link, other than geography between these two bands. Very different styles and fans for both bands. I prefer Night Ranger, but Great Radio Controversy from Tesla is a classic, I always loved "Hang Tough".

Comparing Tesla to Night Ranger is like comparing diamonds to donkey piss. Night Ranger has a few good songs sprinkled here & there, but Tesla has entire albums of good songs.

 

Clean sweep for Tesla.

Nearly a Tesla sweep for me, but I enjoy the hell outta some Night Ranger too!

Night Ranger everytime.

Tesla does little for me I'm afraid.

 

Same here, Night Ranger all the way. Never really got the fuss about Tesla, solid & consistent but unspectacular - though "Great Radio Controversy" is a good album, and "Five Man Acoustical Jam" is pretty cool. Both bands last albums are crap IMO.

Same here. I really really like some of Night Ranger's tunes, and o a song-by-song basis they might win a few battles, but as far as full albums, I'm Tesla all the way. :)
