I've only got the Metal Blade re-issue version from '99. Excellent disc though.

I've only got the Metal Blade re-issue version from '99. Excellent disc though.

I picked it up off Amazon sellers for a fiver (£5) - it's not a recent re-issue by the look of it here's what it says on Wikipedia

"Restless Breed was first re-issued on CD in 1997 by Germany's High Vaultage label, including the Riot Live 6-song EP as bonus tracks. A stateside re-issue followed in 1999 on Metal Blade Records, albeit sans the EP bonus tracks."

High Vaultage also did Fire Down Under but the remix by former Riot producer Steve Loeb was deemed "controversial" as it supposedly lost some of it's sparkle and power so the Metal Blade version is the one to get apparently in that case.

Edit...here's a bit of something about the High Vaultage Label I looked at before I ordered the CD earlier (coz I'm at work had to go looking for the link again) - At first I wasn't sure if it was a legit label as I didn't think I had seen them before especially after looking at their releases as the label specializes in waters that musically I only dip my toe in ocassionally so I hadn't crossed tracks with it before, but it seems to be legit.

It also has a list of the High Vaultage releases.

some forum

Yet another edit....Just clicked -- after looking at the list I remember a few years back trying to get the 1st Rods album on CD....now that isn't on the list but there are others .... but it was released by High Vaultage and I didn't buy it because it was deleted...and the price was about £25.....heh! Just checked now and on Amazon(uk) someone wants nearly £70 for it!!! Crazy price...that's probably why I downloaded it and ripped it to CD instead.....knew I'd heard of the label for some reason and it only just dawned!!!
