How many c.d.'s do you own?

Where do you put them all?

Yes Terry, answer the questions...

OK guys, lets see.

First off: I have a thing, no pun intended for movie scores, you know, the orchestral music, so I do pick up a lot of those (I recon I have about 2000 movie scores) IE: Brokeback Mountain, which I haven't seen, but the music is quite lovely.

Yes, quite a lot of the cd's I buy are local/Seattle bands that fall into the "rock" category. Anywhere from hair to glam to metal to grunge to???

Medievil Babes was another of those "this looks interesting, the chix are pretty hot and for $.50 lets give it whorl."

I suppose all told, original, quality/quantity silver pressed cd's and band released cdr's...I am sitting just north of 5000 units. Haven't counted in a while and the piles are piling up. :) (Probably at least that amount in cdr's)(Yes, I'm a music junkie!)

As for storage: i have 4 bookcase style shelving units. 2 home made and 2 Ikea and they are all stuffed full with about 500 or more cd's stacked in piles on the floor.

Here are a couple of pix from about a month ago.

And lastly, a few more adds! Again guys and gals this a culmination of buys over the past couple of months and I have to post them here, listen to them and list them in my data base before they go into my collection.

Chickenhead-Muddy River Risin'

Saturn Transit-Out Of The Black

Munkufust-Unveiled

Wednesday Week-What We Had

Cathedral-Soul Sacrifice

Psychotherapy-Tel Me When It Hurts

Purple Bosco-Deeper

Neil Henderson-Amateur Dreams

Trash Train-Come Along For The Ride

The Last Drive-Blood Nirvana

Urban Legends Final Cut-OSTS John Ottman

Classics For Children: Boston Pops/Arthur Fiedler Narrated by Sir Alec Guinness

Bloodlush-Thrush

Odd Man Out-Greatest Hits

More tomorrow and don't hesitate to pick my brain on some of these or any other oddball releases that I have.

Terry

Wow!

I love seeing photos like this!!!!

That is not in Terry's house! That is the fabled Shangri-La found. Once you've been there, you'll not age a bit.

is that a fairy costume with horses and cows bottom right?

Thanks Nelson. It is my little shrine.

Matt, but of course. Nothing goes better with music than a fairy dress and Briar horses. Everybody knows that.

Snoop Dogg-R&G The Masterpiece

:baneed:

Haha, missed that. You serious, Terry? You cruel man. Your ears must hate you!

Terry loves music plain and simple.

If it has sound on the disc he'll buy it, or so it seems.

Then again maybe with that one he might be looking to trade it or sale it.

I do know that most of the cds he buys are for around $1-$2 at those great half priced bookstores up there.

Terry is awesome he realy enjoys all types of music so thats why he buys all. He is very opened minded much more than me and much more than most people where I'll buy any genre of rock he''ll buy any type of music, and yes most the cds Terry buys are enipensive he finds lots of rare stuff such as VILLIAN, SHORT CIRCUT, INVADER, LEONARD THE DOG etc I wish I lived in Seattle to find as many great cds that Terry finds . Keep on finding and I hope to make it back there in the spring!!! :drink::banger:

    • 'Ride On' out June 28th From Lions Pride Music: Heavy Star: Unveiling the Timeless Sound of Rock Established in 2014, Heavy Star roared onto the rock scene in 2016 with the release of "Electric Overdrive," a testament to founder Marco Kace's enduring love for heavier rock. Influenced by KISS and the rebellious Ramones, Marco shaped Heavy Star's sound as a homage to the mid-'80s rock royalty, blending NWOBHM vibes with the energy of Hair Metal and Glam. The band weathered lineup changes, welcoming drummer Adriano Jukka Merico in 2017 and bassist Daniele Papale in 2019. The pandemic-induced challenges in 2020 led to vocalist Albert's move to London and the departure of guitarist Danny Slade, prompting a reflective pause. In 2022, the arrival of lead vocalist Corrado Quoiani revitalized the band, setting the stage for their signing with Lions Pride Music in May 2023. Despite global upheavals, Heavy Star's perseverance bore fruit with the completion of their album, "Ride On," in December 2023. The mix and mastering, guided by Luca Pazienza and Marco "Kace" Capasso, added a contemporary touch, creating a unique sonic experience. "Ride On" encapsulates Heavy Star's timeless commitment to rock 'n roll, blending nostalgia with a modern edge. Their story is one of evolution, resilience, and an unwavering passion for the music that transcends eras. Get ready to ride the waves of Heavy Star's sonic journey! Heavy Star is: Corrado Quoiani: Vocals Marco Kace: Guitars Daniele "Vinz" Papale: Bass Adriano "Jukka" Merico: Drums   Tracklist: 01) My Lady Firefly 02) Razor Blade 03) Lexi Love 04) Rock 'N' Roll Again 05) Horizon High 06) Ride On 07) Blame It On Love 08) Round And Round 09) Just Like Madness 10) Lifeline 11) Invisible Enemy 12) As The Wind Blows 13) Walk On Out (Bonus Track)
