Scorpions - Lonesome Crow

Scorpions - In Trance...+3 / Virgin Killer...4 (2 CD Box Set)

I thought the original dodgy cover of 'Virgin Killer' was still banned because of the naked child on the cover? Well it's not on this Axe Killer version

Various (Pendragon, Jadis,IQ, Pallas etc) - Mannerisms: A Celebration Of The Music Of Geoff Mann

I gave Lonesome Crow remaster a good play the other day... definately not something id play alot, but i enjoyed it! Sounded pretty good, esp when cruising..

Yeah it is very different to the stuff most people know, but Schenker is great on it and it's the only Scorps album he is on. 'In Trance' is damned good aswell and the first album where they really took off. Just got to get 'Fly To The Rainbow' now (which is winging it's way to me as we speak) and my Scorps collection is finished.

Not forgetting Schenkers appearence on the classic Lovedrive album! :headbanger:

This review pretty much sums it up:

By Tyler - See all my reviews

This review is from: 36 Massive Rock Tracks (Audio CD)

9. Shapes of Things

10. Hair of the Dog

11. Love Hurts

12. Holy Roller

13. Carry Out Feelings

14. You're the Violin

15. My Whte Bicycle

16. Somebody to Roll

17. I Want to Do Everything for You

18. I Don't Want to Go on Without You

19. Expect No Mercy

Disc: 2

1. Gone Dead Train

2. Place in Your Heart

3. May the Sunshine

4. Star 5. Holiday

6. Heart's Grown Cold

7. Dressed to Kill

8. Cocaine [Live]

9. Love Leads to Madness

10. Dream On

11. Where Are You Now

12. Ruby Tuesday

Plus also one of the reviews on the Anthology collection states from a diehard fan that four of their really good tacks that are from their Greatest Hits album are not on the Anthology Collection CD but are on the 36 Massive Rock Tracks CD.

So in all, an easy choice to make between the two IMO...and cheaper as well

Arrived yesterday from AOR Heaven:

Chris Laney: Only Come Out At Night

HEAT: Freedom Rock

AOR Heaven is really a reliable and oool website. Third order with these guys, and these two arrived just as quickly as the last. Also included a cool sampler of 45 snippets of artists...three tracks a piece. A cool way of sampling some of newer artists out and on the rise. Cool guys.
