That's alright I can pick up Pete on the way. I'm actually going to Philly this weekend to see the Phillies play the Braves before I have to take my oldest son back to satan(I mean his mom). I can just the timing from there.

Philly's a pretty cool city. I saw Iced Earth/In Flames/Jag Panzer there a couple of years back @ the Trocadero. It was my so-called "retirement show" cuz we had just found out my wife was pregnant with our first son the day after my friend and I got the tickets. So that was the last concert I went to, until I saw Maiden last Fall. I take it you're rooting for the Phillies?

Yeah Philly's a cool town I've been there many times. It doesn't surprise me that Iced Earth, In Flames and Jag Panzer did a concert in Philly I'm pretty sure Nuclear Blast has a recording studio there. That would have been a kick ass show to go to.

The only way I buy LP's these days is for a decoration on my wall. They make nice pictures.

I use to use a couple of the 'gatefold' covers for backgrounds of my fish tanks, they looked pretty cool, back in those days! ;) Rainbow Rising was one of my faves, I wonder how the fish enjoyed 'em?:whistle:

It's a proven fact that Fish enjoy anything invloving Ronnie James Dio. ;)

 How do ya know this as fact? A gallop poll, perhaps? or communing with the fishies, aka Mr. Limpet? :screwy: It's been said that watching fish in a fish tank is very calming to peoples! ;) But what 'bout what the fish think lookin' back at us? Especially with some crazy 60/70's record jacket for a background! Like that Prong cover... :yikes:.....poor fishies.... :nyanya:

I'm all about cassettes. There are a ton of cassettes that have never been released on cd. Some of it has and the only way you can afford it is to get the cassette. You do what you have to do to get the music. Was never a fan of records. I thought they were cool and all, but too big and a hassle to use. Strangely enough I do have an old stereo in my room with cassette, 8-Track, and record player. My setup doesn't allow me to play records though. I've had it for about 4 years and still don't know if it works. I only have a couple 8-Tracks to use in the stereo. The one that works is Journey-Evolution. That is one great album and one of the tapes that fell into my hands by accident and helped shape my future. I owe a lot to that 8-Track along with the Aerosmith-Rocks 8-Track that got ate. I think it got ate anyway. That was a sad day when that happened. I think I was about 10 years old and I cried. Didn't realize it was available on a myriad of formats.

I did know about the resurgence of vinyl. They say it's outselling SACD and DVD audio combined. At my favorite record store he even started carrying some of the newly pressed vinyl. Too bad the store is in limbo. Don't even really know if it exists any more. When I could talk to Jimmie he told me that he was going to search to find some new pressed Hair Metal stuff. He had a catalog with the newest released Vinyl in it. It never happened though. Hate when that happens.

Anyway, enough of the reminiscing for me. You know where I stand.
