Ok let me ask a stupid question, what is the point of marking the package as a "gift" of Customs in the receiving country are going to open it and charge any kind of duty tax etc, even if the value is marked low.......It doesn't make alot of sense to me........I know i have had several packages held in US Customs coming from Japan that i had shipped via EMS, for of all things, the title of the cd.......No shit, the most recent was a copy of "Shake the Faith-America the Violent", I almost did not get it for that simple fact.....And 4 of the last 5 packages i received from any European countries have been opened and inspected.......It is definately a pain in the ass anymore........ Well i find it amazing of all the trash that is being thrown at Sam by one person from different label......I have found Sam to be truly helpful in my recent endeavors and believe me until you begin to reissue a cd yourself, you will never know just how much work goes into it.......He is a helluva business guy and he is not doing this to get rich, he is in it to get the music out to the fans......David if you want to sling mud I know there is one person in particular who is not happy with your business practices, and he will shed his own light on it here himself very soon...........Hats off to Sam for the great music and i look forward to all your future releases........... Well after reading some of the comments, I hate to see Delbert get stiffed especially for such a large amount of money......Delbert has always been a class act when we've done deals......As far as Ebay goes, I be damned if they are going to dictate to me how i can get my money.......If i want to use Western Union i will, believe me they take more steps to guard against fraud than Ebay has ever thought of, i used Western Union just today, and to verify who i was i had to answer some questions only i would know, and not what is your favorite color or pet kind of shit........It is not even safe to accept "Cashier's Checks" anymore, as just a couple of weeks ago i received payment for some stuff, I had it packaged and was getting ready to head to the Post Office when i get a call from the bank......the bitch stopped payment on the check......then i get an email from her asking if i had mailed her stuff.......So all in all i will accept the kind of payment i want irregardless of what Ebay says, I am selling my goods and paying a fee to use their site so the way i see it i have more than fulfilled my part with them. they get paid twice, listing fees and FVF, so if i want to use another payment service i feel i damn sure can......... I had a run in with this same person a few years ago over on MR.com ........Luckily i caught on to the game before i was burnt........The person also goes a "chicks" name as well, reminds me of Arwine, changing names and stuff.......One thing, you need to watch dealing with people over at MR.com, don't get me wrong there are alot of great folks that trade there, but MR is not as tight knitted as things are here at HH......I was burnt as couple of times over there when i started trading and now i hardly ever frequent there are all.....Unless it is someone i know and have dealt with in the past......I don't know why people have to be such asses.......Just my two cents of course..... Well, I looked at Sam's site and to me it is just a case of miswording, I do not believe he was out to "who-do" anyone.......I agree with what has already been said, people need to quit nitpicking and trying to stir the pot......He has been very insiteful with what has been going on with his label......I have no problems doing business with Sam and if it weren't for him alot of the stuff wouldn't see the light of day, but at least his does in a very timely manner. Sure I like some others do not like the cdr format, but you have to look at it from his point of view, it's his money he is investing and if it does "take off" he will silver press it.......Quit looking at all the negatives and look at the positives, he is giving us great music that we wouldn't have if it weren't for him.......He or his label has not led me astray.......So like JL said, leave all the bullshit alone, if you don't like Sam or his label you do not have to deal with him............ Jarred Hey dude, I appreciate the concern bro, I am fine and doing well.......I haven't been around alot as i have a ton of things going on, and yeah i am not longer registered with Ebay, well at least for now, my last round of stuff i sold on there was met with some very bad experiences and of course no help from Ebay or Paypal, so i just chose to get away from it for now........But one of the things i have going on that i'd like everyone to know about, I have recently taken back over my website on Gemm......I had let a friend of mine take over the domain for a long while, well i started getting emails from people saying they were getting the wrong stuff and stuff was not as described, well once i checked into it i found out he and his wife had more or less run it into the ground.......So i have been working on getting it back up and running and reassuring all my old customers that i am back in charge and running ti once again and everyone will receive the great service i had provided them with since it's inception in 96........I am in the process of listing many cd's on the site, so everyone can check it out at www.lrc.gemm.com .........But i sincerely appreciate everyone's support and well wishes from the time when i was totally down and out with back surgery and some other life challenges, it is great to have great friends from such a great community......... Well I guess for future reference, anyone who sales any cd's to "Corvonero63" from the US or Canada should just make arrangements to hand deliver them to him no matter the cost, just to make him happy.....No one here can do anything about the shipping time to a foreign country, considering this day and time any package can be held up in Customs for no reason, for example i bought a copy of "Shake the Faith-America the Violent", it was shipped EMS from Japan and was held in customs because the name of the cd was wrote on Customs label. But i guess that was my fault for buying the cd.......So let's all kneel down and worship all the impatient buyers in the world, just because they think they should have a cd they have bought and expect it to be delivered from 3000-4000 miles away in a matter of hours....... Had the same problem with this person several months ago......I finally had to file and International Fraud claim to get it all taken care of after i finally got information from the USPS that the package had been delivered and sign for......Took almost a month......I avoid this one like the plague..... After the hearing the samples i was not impressed, now that i have the cd in my hands, well still not that impressed, it does have it moments, but nothing spectacular......It seems Greg has developed the "Bon Jovi Syndrome"........To where everything has to have a "Springsteenesque" sound to it....now that is not a bad thing, but after being away for so long, and releasing to killer discs of older material, all of us old fans were looking for a return to that style and era.......But then again there is nothing against "growing", and i think that is what "Blue Tears" has tried to do on this one....... I would bet good money to say you are probably going to be getting a CDR.....I had 2 dealings with this guy and both were misrepresented and i got cdr's, which i wouldn't of bitched about had they been quality cdr's, but the sound quality was horrbile, crackling and popping all thru it.....One was a Big Bang Babies and the other was Theatre(which i was able to get an original off a few weeks later).........Since he hasn't answered your emails, i guess that gives you the answers...... I have noticed alot of that going on......Having things listed that are not actually in stock......I looked at both the seller's Delbert and T-Bone listed links for, and damn the negative feedback is horrible........This is why nowadays i look at the seller's feedback, and if has many negatives i do not even bother.......Also unless they are a very reputable seller or someone in which i have done business with before, i steer clear.........A couple of other seller's that come to mind are: Movie Marz a1 books americanmediasource inflatablemadness mountmedia Amazobook and there are many many more.........
