  1. Sounds pretty good, but similar to Glen, I was expecting a little better after the promising EP
  2. The debut from these guys was solid. I'll try to check this one out, but I think the original vocalist was better.
  3. I agree, the verses sound very similar to "Rebel Yell". The new album has grown on me after giving it a few more listens. All three albums are good, but I still prefer Quid Pro Quo a bit more
  4. Decent song, but still sounds lackluster
  5. I wish I could have made it, seemed like Andrew had a lot of great acts for MRF again. I've never seen H.e.a.t., so I'm quite envious. That is exciting news on the possibility of a new release next year, let's hope so.
  6. The song has a pleasant chorus and vocals sound good, but rather mellow for a lead single. It sounds closer to Wilson Phillips than the debut. I'm still interested in hearing more though based on the strength of the prior release.
  7. I like Myles voice, and will give it a chance. Tracks sound ok individually, but if the whole album has this sleepy, acoustic feel I'll probably pass as far as purchasing.
  8. I've heard a couple songs of theirs in the past, but never really got into them. From what I've seen, their songs revolve around Satan as do their costumes and stage shows. Kind of like a modern version of King Diamond, but more tongue in cheek, and more diverse musically
  9. Nice tune and a pleasant surprise to see Clif putting out a new album
  10. This looks like a nice reissue. Both of the original releases were getting expensive and hard to find, especially On Dangerous Ground, which I thought was the better of the two.
  11. Actually, please disregard my last post about guitarist. Those pledgemusic updates were just in regards to his solo album. At first I thought those sessions morphed into this release with Deen. However, I just read on Johnny's FB page that this album is separate from his solo which Eric Gadrix is the guitarist and Deen is guest drummer on a few tracks for the other release
  12. Johnny had mentioned on his Pledgemusic updates a few weeks back that the guitarist on the album was Eric Gadrix who he added also did some co-writes. I think they used someone else for the video shoot.
  13. While I'm not sure of the shipping time you asked about, I had noticed that NEH Records (online music store located in U.S.) recently pushed back release date to May 18th.
  14. Really nice tune! I like the video too, with the intro and the pictures.
  15. My thoughts as well. I was disappointed by the last album, but enjoying this one
  16. New lyric video for Shadow of Your Love from the upcoming reissue
  17. Looks cool, but no way I'd pay $650, if that price is correct. Even the other version, without all the extras, is too pricey for me at $179.
  18. Desmond Child co-wrote tracks on Humanity Hour so it has a little different style. You may enjoy Sting In the Tail as well which was the release after.
  19. If I recall correctly they did have a fair amount of songs recorded from that era including some that ended up on Use Your Illusion. I'm interested if it isn't too expensive and has unreleased studio material, rather than live recordings or tracks already on other compilations.
  20. Gave this a listen tonight, and found it to be a really good album. Melodic hard rock, with a nice variety including guest, female vocalists on a few tracks. I can see this ending up in my top 10 this year.
  21. When I originally saw the tag "ex-Universe" I was thinking it was the German group by the same name. I don't recall if I've ever listened to the prior release from members of this band, but I've liked what I've heard so far from this upcoming album.
  22. I enjoyed the prior album from this project and was always surprised they didn't put out a follow up, until now at least. I'm hoping this one is as good the first
  23. Yeah, this is a pretty good album. As you said a nice mix of styles. I heard similarities to The Rods (Rock 'n' Rolla), The Cult and even some ZZ Top (Lazy Lucy).
  24. Sounds pretty good, I plan to check out the album as well.
  25. I think this was originally to be a solo release by Johnny. He had a Pledgemusic campaign to help fund the album. I recall Johnny mentioning Deen was guest drummer, so maybe that turned into some songwriting collaborations?
