  1. Good to see the original members collaborate on a new song. Sounds like something that could have been on Dysfunctional to me as well, which isn't a bad thing.
  2. I believe it is an older demo track, so as Geoff mentioned, possibly released on one of Andrew's MR compilations(?) Peter Broman also referred to that demo track being released a few years ago in an interview with RockUnited.com http://www.rockunited.com/amazeme.htm
  3. The new tune is pretty good, and although I've enjoyed some songs from their last few albums it is hard thinking of the band as Bonfire still, without Claus on vocals
  4. My thoughts exactly, some really good tunes on this one Agreed, easily their best since Painkiller
  5. "Kiss of Death" is not only one of my favorite Dokken songs, but L.A. Guns, Black & Blue, Warlock and Steevi Jaimz each had some good tunes by that same name.
  6. In briefly checking out these songs/videos it seems odd that they are all Fastway songs (Lea Hart era). I recall hearing about them collaborating on an album and I've seen that cover before, but have never heard anything from it until just now.
  7. Nice tune, I think the change in vocalist and involvement of Jona Tee has helped the band take a step forward with their sound
  8. This new track sounds pretty good to me, even though I still struggle a little with the vocals.
  9. The music is a little more mellow than I usually prefer, but these promo tracks all sound classy and well written. I'll try to check out the full album.
  10. I do agree that the new song is better than the first track they put our for the upcoming album
  11. The samples sound ok, similar style to the band's earlier material, but my initial thought is that the songs aren't as strong as those prior releases
  12. Doesn't sound bad, but I'll pass and stick with my Beast From The East cd for my fix of live Dokken. I wonder if Don made any comments to George about using the Wicked Sensation guitar.
  13. Count me in with that minority. A solid band, but for one reason or another I've never been able to get into them. I've listened to all their prior releases, but outside of a few songs, I rarely play them. This new tune is more of the same for me, just OK
  14. Nice! I liked the debut, but was a bit disappointed by the follow up. I'm surprised they have new material coming out so quick, but looking forward to hearing more.
  15. If anyone is looking to get this on cd but doesn't want to pay the high price for the original, Demon Doll Records has just re-issued the album, re-mastered, silver pressed, officially licensed with an 8 page booklet.
  16. The band indicated they're working on a new album. Here is their new single/video and a comment from the band's FB page https://www.facebook.com/wildstreetnyc/ : A rockin’ fuckin day! The official Lyric video for our latest single “Raise Hell” is now available!! & chosen to be released today, for it’s the birthday of a fucking monster ?⚡️⚡️ a founding member of the band, & backbone to our rhythm section, JIMMIE MARLOWE! We’re starting the party early this week, & so should you, with this video!
  17. Thanks for sharing the podcast, those tracks sound good, looking forward to the album being released
  18. I made a huge mistake in picking up the next album, which is a phone number or whatever. I did try to warn you about the fourth album being a big disappointment . I believe at the time that it was a phone number fans could call and get info about the band.
  19. I agree, Rick has had a phenomenal career and I didn't mean to imply he is bitter, just an impression I got. I have a screen shot below from an interview with Billboard magazine (Jan 1999) in which he touched on this. He expanded on that topic in the tv interview I mentioned
  20. I've only listened to it once and it's not bad, but also not something I plan to purchase. If you don't like blues music you probably won't find much that interests you on the album. I saw him do an interview a few years back and he seemed to have a chip on his shoulder with regards to some people seeing him as a one hit wonder and not taking him seriously as a musician. I think albums like this, "Shock/Denial/Anger/Acceptance" and "Rocket Science" are just him branching out and showing people a different side of his musical talent & interests, knowing full well not all of his fans will like it.
  21. Nice job Captain! You just stated your opinion about the chorus and did so without saying anything disparaging about those who liked it. Heck, you even pointed out that you are a long time fan, complimented his songwriting ability and said you plan on buying the album still.
