  1. It reminds me too much of one of their older songs. Like they were trying to replicate that and came up with a B grade version.
  2. Love Is A Funny Feeling Also not a big fan of Rich Man Poor Man The instrumental is the other one I'll leave out of my Electric Boys folder. Which leaves 7 songs which is pretty damn good.
  3. Under The BRidge isn't bad. Only one I can think of
  4. Was Ratt 81 - 91 for me. Here is Aus we never had massive exposure to Ratt. I recall hearing Casey Kasem playing Round & Round on the radio, but I never really pursued them much, Bought that GHits and really liked pretty much all of the songs on it. Then I explored the albums and didn't find too much more I was all that interested in. Like Glenn, I tend to save them for bands I am not a die hard fan of. Eagles, John Lennon, Fleetwood Mac, Dr. Hook, etc Love the bands and the music, but happy to stick with the hits pretty much
  5. meh, we all like different songs. I generally find that most greatest hits albums contain a bunch of songs that I'm not a huge fan of and some songs I really love are shunned. Certainly not trying to convince anyone here that HEAT chose the wrong songs. Just putting my 2c in
  6. For me, songs that shouldn't have made it are... There For You Late Night Lady Straight For Your Heart Breaking The Silence Inferno Eye Of The Storm Missing Songs... Follow Me Shelter The One And Only Heartbreaker Downtown Mannequin Show (how did this not get on?) Laughing At Tomorrow Redefined Shit City We Rule Into The Great Unknown
  7. No problems. Nothing against the song, just really not my genre. Only real screamo (sorry for the genralisation) I do would be Sonic Syndicate, and even they drop the dirty vocals on the last album. I wish you luck though.
  8. Agree also with Chilli Peppers. Some songs are cool, mainly radio ones. Re anthrax, I'd also generally agree. Some songs are pretty good on their own, but never got in to them. Maiden, however I don't get. Doesn't compute how someone could feel that way with such a large catalogue and range of music. But then again, people would say the same about me and Preist I guess. I can add one to my list. DLR Van Halen. Of course I dig Jump, Panama, Hot For Teacher, etc, but most of their early stuff is very meh to me. Love Van Hagar though.
  9. Yeah, always struck me as weird. I'd be seen as a 'metalhead' by most people, yet this song is pretty fringe for me. Not sure who their target audience is with that song. Could just be a case of a metalhead CEO I guess
  10. Agree with Led Zep. Maybe not my generation, but then again neither were the BEatles, but I dig them. I don't hate any band, I just choose not to listen to those I don't like. Some bands that others like a lot but never did it for me are Metallica - like a few songs but not the music generally Airbourne - don't really like anything ACDC - like many songs, but not most of it. Repetitive, boring Slayer Megadeth Pantera Motorhead Dream Theatre A lot of synthy, poppy AOR Love Poison though. Not a huge Aerosmith fan, but like some of their stuff. Prefer them to ACDC. Their "fallen Angel" song for me would be "Angel" or "Living On The Edge"
  11. Peppermint. I don't wanna really make a John Wick reference as that will raise hopes, but I guess I just did. It's not John Wick, but it is in that vein. Female lead (Jennifer Garner) and she does it well. Thoroughly enjoyed this one, would be in my top 5 of the year.
  12. As mentioned earlier, one of the only good songs on the album.
  13. You've got some great songs there. Some of them my faves of the albums. Which means I'll be checking out the ones you listed that I haven't heard yet. I'll try to do a list soonish
  14. They had a song Home Sweet Home which was pretty good. Not sure if it made it onto an album
  15. Pretty fucking good clip. Song is good. I have their 2015 EP, but nothing on that was much good.
  16. Haha. My least favorite. Predictable and just plain boring. Same here. Filler for me.
  17. Not gonna rate them, but here's what made my Treat best of... Progenitors Always Have, Always Will Rose Of Jericho Heartmath City Build The Love Riptide Tomorrow Never Comes All Bets Are Off Undefeated
  18. Looks like this album never happened? They seem to be still touring, but nothing since 2009...
  19. Listening to this one now.| Pretty average samey disc. One stand out so far is Two Coins And A Dead Man Forest Through The Trees is on, so is Any Time At All and Live Before You Die. The rest hasn't really interested me at all yet
  20. Ohhh, this is a good one. Possibly their best. First listen was great. Couple of duds, one because it was a boring instrumental, and one because it was a crappy song, but some of the others were fantastic. Will likely be top 5 for me this year.
  21. Law Abiding Citizen is amazing. Anyone who hasn't seen it, should. Let down by Equalizer 2. Didn't come close to the first. I saw Cool Runnings today, because it was on TV. Still a great movie, held up well over time. John Candy was a good actor.
