I agree.

Everyone has a right to their own opinion, but this is what gets me. If a band from back in the day puts out a new cd 20 or so years later,and it sounds different than the debut from that band, people criticize them for it. BUT if they make a cd in the same style or similar to their old stuff, people criticize that as well, saying that there is nothing new here or same old rehashed stuff.

I have heard the whole thing in full(ran through it 3 times so far), and I am liking it a lot. 6 or so songs have been taken from old songs that were not used, and that is awesome! A cross between old Halen and DLR solo stuff. My favorites are(in no order) She's The Woman, You And Your Blues, China Town, Blood And Fire, Stay Frosty, Big River, Tattoo, Outta Space, and Beats Workin'. One of the best come backs imo.

I agree, sounds pretty good. Pretty much like Shakra.

"Wildest Dreams" is (IMO of course) the best AOR song in the 21st century so far... sorry mate, sounds like something from 'The Never Ending Story'. My fav from that album was 'Game They Call Love'....riff, huge keys, and a totally over the top chorus best verses/pre chorus on the album are 'going out with a bang'....killer. but the actual chorus lets it down You are WRONG!!!! I'm with Tim 'Wildest Dreams' is the best AOR song of the 21st century. 'Memories' is the closest since. Um , No!

Don't get me wrong, because I really do like Memories. But I feel like I should be skipping around with a big smile on my face while listening to it! lol

Yep, of course it's the best song on the CD - by miles. Ridiculously grand. Glen just likes to cause trouble. I think the best song on it is Smoke & Fire!!!

ha, weird that I was just PM ing saying that this was a good track, but second best is way off the mark IMO. Bottom half of the album for me. No way would this top 'Angel', 'Lost', 'Love's On The Line', 'Smoke & Fire', 'Memories' or 'Cheated By Love' come to that..............the band obviously thought so too as it was dumped as a Jap bonus. That said it should have been included as track 13 - would have made a better end to the album than 'Harvest Moon'. I agree 100%

My 2 boy are Logan-6 & Hunter-4. The wife and I did not want names that have been used to death( John, Mike etc)so some names on your list I didn't even give a second thought to,(Henry, Jamie etc). Logan and Hunter are great names, we've actually considered Logan, but think the pronunciation in Dansih will mess it up. Keep in mind that names like Henry, Jamie, and Charlie are not that common here. I didn't know where you are from, names like those you mentioned, plus names like Michael, John, james, Joseph were all used to death here in the States so we didn't want anything like that. That being said, I don't like really weird names at all.

Backed on The Magnificent. Such a strong album - hardly any flaws IMO. One of the few discs in 2011 which just doesn't get tired. Must have spun this dozens of times - absolutely love it! Same here, can't stop listening to it!

I kind of agree with you, I really don't care for a lot of his stuff. I absolutely love the EYES cd and I love W.E.T. and a few songs in between like Believe In Me. This new does sound like it should be good(I'm hoping), so I will check it out.

If any of you have not heard the samples of the new JSS cd (I actually forgot what site it's on)but anyway, they are only 4 second samples. I do have to say they sound pretty good for only 3-4 second samples.

Where do you rate The Magnificent ? That is my #1 of the year.
