  1. Street Ready is one of the BEST melodic metal cd! I love the whole thing!
  2. Yes, I don't get it myself, he's whacked in the head! I agree, It is my favorite of 2011. The Treat was Awesome, the Danger Danger was Great and the Crashdiet was really good also, but the Crazy Lixx of 2010 is better than the Crashdiet imo.
  3. He's my friend who hardly comes on here, so I used the same one!

"Heatseeker" is my favorite track on the cd. Personally I think the first half of the album is good, but not extremely memorable or even very catchy (although I'm sure most of the tracks will eventually grow on me). Definitely a turn from what the band is known for. Then, starting with track 7 "Church of Rock", it's a whole different story. Awesome, kickass, catchy songs that immediately remind me of their 1st two releases. yep, im a heatseeker fan too :-) Heatseeker is one of the top songs on here IMO. Least fav is Downtown but even that song is still a good fun rocking tune so I wouldn't even call it filler. I like Downtown,it's not a favorite but it has grown on me.
  5. I loved Hooked as well. Lovin' Kind is maybe the best ballad they ever did, and I'm not even a ballad guy. Have to say though all the albums before this one were their best stuff, especially the early stuff from the On Your Knees EP. As for their post Hooked LP's I think my favorite was Can't Get There From Here. Great, underrated album. I still remember when I first heard Congo Square. It was played twice on The Friday Rock Show. The two guitar breaks are incredible. I absolutely love Congo Square. I'm just saddened and disappointed that this has happened to the band. I agree, it's a shame!
  6. Not bad, a mix between Hinder and My Darkest Day I'd say.
  7. Mmm, lonely is the word. Can't keep all the troops happy mate! Don't listen to this guy, he's never happy!
  8. Same here. Listening to it for the first time, I cringed as soon Ilous started singing and couldn't make it through a single track. I'm too much of a Great White fan to be able to accept anyone other than Jack Russell singing for the band. If they hadn't called it "Great White", I might give it a chance. But for now, I just can't listen to it. And as for "fat paced rockers", I'll stick with Meatloaf. I agree. Jack is 1 of my favorite singers period, and is just wrong to hear GW music with a different voice. Not saying it's a bad cd, but it's more like XYZ trying to sound like GW,
  9. This is a tough one for me, but I rate the new H.E.A.T. slightly higher than this one. Those are my 1&2 of the year so far.
  10. I agree. I was listening to this yesterday and I can honestly say that this doesn't impress me at all. It sounds way too modern for me and in some instances I was thinking it sounded similar to Alice in Chains. Why can't we have a Europe album that's like their first five albums? Because they are grown men and more mature now, and as artist they need to grow. Or some BULLSHIT like that!
  11. Yep I'd pretty much agree with that. "Land of Broken Dreams" is epic. The only song you missed that I like is "The One To Blame". Otherwise it's too hit & miss. To each their own, because I love this cd.
  12. Nice one Probably my favourite Dokken tune. McAuley Schenker Group - Love Is Not A Game What a Song!!
  13. I don't dislike what I hear at all!
  14. No, they have always been influenced by heavy blues (very modern!). 'Prisoners In Paradise' is not too dissimilar from this album! That was out 20 rears ago?! Check out the new song Doghouse. It's captured live and on YouTube. Are you comparing this new one to Prisoners In Paradise? PLEASE!
  15. Agree, But the band would say that it is a more MATURE sounding Europe!
  16. Very Good Song! That is my fav. of the cd.
  17. Agreed. Only had one spin of this as well but was surprised at how much I liked it. Ditto!
  18. backed, although I think I may even prefer 'Love Junkie' which is another killer tune Great cd period.
  19. Great one. Yep, easily my favourite HOL song. An absolute classic. Awesome!
  20. I don't know if I'd rate it that high myself, but yes a very good track.
