  1. I always thought 1992 was the end of an era. Btw I'm not really into new music (of MHR/AOR) but I liked what I've heard this year. What kind of music are you into now? Do you just listen to the old stuff? If I listen to melodic hard rock it should be prior 1993 in general but there are a few bands/albums from the new era that I like, e.g. the new Steel Panther is just awesome. Now don't get me wrong, because I'm mr. 80's (hard rock, hard aor, some metal) but I don't know what I would do without hearing new music of that genre, like Reckless Love, Crazy Lixx, The Magnificent etc. I do always fall back to the 85-95 stuff!!!
  2. My favorite XYZ Ballad- What keeps me loving you, Awesome!
  3. I just glanced at it fast, (I'm on my may to work). Ill check it out later. One thing I did notice is that you have a few songs that I don't see as a ballad. Even a (power) ballad you can slow dance to, and Lovin' a girl like you by Danger Danger is not a ballad. One that I see missing is What is forever for by House of Lords which is in my top 3 of all time.

  5. I'm not to much into Metal as much as I used to be,(Of course I still love my classic metal from the 80's early 90's, Maiden, Helloween etc.)But has anyone heard the new Primal Fear single? Reminds me of that time. Bad Guys Wear Black!
  6. Not bad, but I'd rather hear a new Crunch cd!!!
  7. Yes, I agree. A whole lot of really top notch stuff this year.
  8. Yes, very good cd! Can't wait to hear David sing some of those songs. Thanks!! Glad you like it. Im very proud of the album top to bottom. Everyone involved did a KILLER job! The band will do a few songs off of DAMAGE CONTROL, but it will be alot of the new album ofcourse. Plus a few surprises for the David Reece die hards. We are going to pull out some stuff from Davids resume of rockers. In the meantime to hold you over...heres David and co doing I'm Done Loving You Angel In Black That's awesome! Thank You.

So glad you found a closer place, Chicopee was an 1 and 1/2 drive! Coventry is a 30-40 minute drive. Cool...well the next show i do come up and say Hello!! You can't miss me....im the one getting up on stage making a fool out myself in between acts. LOL. Were you there when we gave away the guitar? Glad to hear you will make the Rhode Island show!! Yes, my friend and I were there for the guitar give away, that was cool of you guys!

  13. I just heard Alfonzetti's new solo cd, and I hope Red,White, and Blues is more hard rocking than that one. Not saying that the Alfonzetti is bad or anything, but my taste for music (for right now anyway's )is something with a little more balls.
  14. The wife and I watch it, not bad.
  15. I forgot it too. Got this sexy little The Magnificent CD in the mail this afternoon. Only got to spin 3 songs before I got home. Was a little under-whelmed by the first two (solid, but not amazing choruses, imo), but zomfg, how good is 'Memories?!' Just like in the movie Jerry MacGuire, the Magnificent cd 'had me at Hello!' Hard to say the cd has grown on me, since I liked it the first time I heard it. Tracks like 'Holding On To Your Love' and 'Smoke & Fire' sound better and better each time I listen. I agree. It's funny how a cd that sounded good from the start seems to have gotten even better, but it has!
  16. If an album grabs me and is good I can spin it for years. But after 10 listens if an album is still not doing much for me, I will find something else to listen to. I'm all for giving chances, but when something is boring I couldn't be bothered. As much as I really wanted to like the new Mecca, I just won't force myself to like something simply because others say it is so exceptional. Last week I got 2 cd's in the mail on the same day, Mecca and The Magnificient. I wonder why the Mecca is boring to my ears? I don't wonder why!
  17. I forgot a cd that came out earlier this year that I love Whitesnake- Forevermore 95%
  18. Damn, do I sound that old? Actually I haven't even reached 30 yet and have only been listening to AOR since about 2003 or something...I do prefer the classic AOR sound above the more modern sounding bands, I guess that's part of the reason I rate Airrace so highly. TO each their own Well I'm 42, so I was teenager in the 80's. But for me it was not the aor (Toto, Survivor etc.)for me,although I do like them groups. I was a Crue, Leppard, Dio,Jovi, Poison,Van Halen etc. guy.
  19. Not bad . Modern sound. Nice ruining it with growling vocals!
