  1. I actually like Guillotine Babies quite a bit, but do agree somewhat on Stand & Deliver though I don't consider it filler enough to skip over it. On a CD with so many great tunes it just happens to be a little weaker of the bunch. Overall, a very good disc.
  2. Cue Twilight Zone or The X-Files music now... I used to LOVE The X-Files until David Duchovney left.
  3. I used to serve beer at the Marcus Ampitheatre and the rock stage at Milwaukee Summerfest. We were told that we were not to fill the cups up anyway. There was supposed to be 1 inch+ thick foam at the top so it looked full. When the booth manager was not around I would fill it with beer and minimize the head as much as possible so I got better tips!
  4. I of course I have a slightly different take: Packers survive in Chicago in a hard fought battle, tough field conditions. Steelers take care of business at home in a good game but somewhere in the 4th quarter they get up by 2 scores and the Jets don't have enough to come back. The Super Bowl, I'll take my Packers in a mid-scoring close one...something like 24-21. The Packers handle the Steeler run game just enough to force them to pass more than they want. Clay Matthews and company are able to get some hits on Big Ben. Overall the Packers are able to use their speed on the nice Dallas turf that the WR and cornerback, LB and DB positions and the mobility of A-Rod to pull out the victory. I scanned up this thread but didn't see any Jets or Bears fans. Any on this board? Come on, chime in!!! Two teams are going home this weekend so now is the time to brag up your team, whoever that may be....these NFC Championship games do not come often for most teams. I know I'm excited.
  5. I have always been a little perturbed by the fact that Miller Brewing is a hop skip and a jump away from Miller Park in Milwaukee, yet it's like $7 per beer. They should be able to run a pipe from the brewery to the stadium and at least get it back to $5. Qwest Field beer would probably piss me off more though. I'll have to do some research when I get to Miller Park this summer.
  6. Yes they do and if they continue to score at will and their D is that tough then they will win it all. However I imagine playing in Soldier Field(that is assuming the Bears will beat the Hawks) will be even tougher place to play. They need to eliminate the mistakes they have been making in the playoffs so far. Eagle game: stepping on the ball during a punt, fumbling the ball at their own 25 yard line Falcons game: fumble the ball after a 30 yard reception, kick off return for TD I had predicted to my friends they were due for a mistake free game that they are capable of. That didn't happen. So NOW they are due for one. It will be very tough to play in Soldier field, especially since the Packers defense and wide receivers rely on speed, the turf in Chicago being what it is this time of year, they need to be prepared for that. It would be nice to establish some sort of run game to set up some play action but the Bears D is really good. The Seahawks look dead in the water today, but I'm not sure I want Seattle to rally anyway. NFC Championship between Green Bay and Chicago, who wouldn't want to tune into that?
  7. Pre-Shotgun Messiah? Yes sir! One of my favorites, I took a break from the newer releases this week and it's been mostly Shotgun Messiah all day every day. Then I went for the Kingpin release to hear those subtle differences, like the air raid siren missing from the Kingpin version of Squeezin' Teasin'.
  8. Well, I am a whiskey, brandy and rum drinker but when I have a beer I go with the light stuff...stuff that many here probably don't consider beer: Miller Lite and Miller High Life
  9. Shotgun Messiah - Squeezin' Teazin' "You bring the booze, I bring the action Born on the loose, just out for satisfaction We get our KICKS! ...from rock'n'roll But rock's not rock unless it's out of control Party kick ass Spread 'em honey, wide No style, no class Let me crawl inside You're so hot, hot, hot, hot Better be, 'cause I'm the kind of dog that bites the hand that feeds"
  10. Shotgun Messiah - Red Hot I gotta take some time Clear my f*ckin' mind Pull the plug, erase, rewind See what's left behind A blackened sheep, digging deep Anything's up for keeps Loved, adored, admired F*ck you all, I'm tired
  11. Oh, and I was gonna give my opinions of each team too: Patriots - Don't hate them, but I am tired of hearing about them year after year. When a team is so good for so long, some people hope they go away. I am becoming one of those people. Jets - I used to be indifferent to them, but Rex Ryan is an idiot. Not only his stupid big mouth but what is with the foot fetish video's? Falcons - If not the the Packers, I want the Falcons to win it all. Seahawks - I really have nothing against Seattle but I have a hard time cheering for a playoff team with a losing record. Even if they play lights out and win the Super Bowl I would only be ok with it because I think they got robbed when they went to the Super Bowl a few years ago (no offense Pittsburgh fans, but that is just my opinion that the refs were horrible in that game). Bears - they suck. Ravens - I cannot stand Ray Lewis so I would not want them to win anything.
  12. I like those picks, especially Green Bay over Atlanta! And I know you meant Patriots, not Packers, though I wouldn't mind playing the Jets one more time this year cause that would only mean one this...the Super Bowl! Let's see, I'll go like this: Pittsburgh over Baltimore - if Baltimore was at home, I'd take them. This should be a knock down drag em out bloody game. Patriots over Jets - Pats killed them last time and the Jets seem focused on trash talking instead of playing football. Packers over Atlanta - what, did you expect me to pick Atlanta? This should be a great game. It was close during the regular season. The Packers are starting to play some great football at the right time. The Falcons are well coached, at home, 2 weeks rested, and have a great group of disciplined players. Chicago over Seattle - Chicago has been good too. Defense is tough. Did Seattle catch lightning in a bottle against New Orleans? I think maybe they did. Soldier Field will be loud, it will be cold, the turf will probably get bad, and I don't know if Seattle has enough in them to rattle Cutler for 60 minutes and get him to make some of his patented bone head passes. Besides, I would LOVE for a rubber match with the Packers and Bears for the NFC Championship. That would be a helluva physical game with a lot hatred on both sides. I am beginning to dislike Urlacher too.
  13. Thanks, but my name is Jeff with a "J"

  15. If someone had a gun they should have blown this guy away. How that didn't happen is amazing. Taking away the right to bear arms will not prevent the whack jobs from having guns and doing this. But that was not your question...in my opinion one of the things this government could do to help deter this stuff is march these pieces of shit right off to the electric chair, no trial, he's gone. Instead one of two things will happen: 1. They will determine he was mentally unstable so he will feed off the tax payers, lift weights, shoot hoops and eat 3 meals a day. 2. Arizona will give him the death penalty, but he will sit on death row for decades while piece of shit attorneys file appeals for this asshole while he feeds off the tax payers, lifts weights, shoots hoops and eats 3 meals a day. Our government is what the problem is. I could go off on all kinds of things that piss me off but I will try not to. I feel bad for those innocent people. A 9 year old girl too? Better yet, instead of the electric chair, maybe an eye for an eye thing would be better, chop off a finger or limb for each person he harmed, let him bleed in pain....when that is all done, firing squad. Take the cost of the bullets and time out of any assets he might have had. Cremate the body. Ok, I'm in a bad mood now. Fuck. I'd be curious to know what other governments for folks on this board would do to a piece of shit like this?
  16. Jonah Hex - yet another movie that could have been really good but instead mostly sucked. Glad I only paid a buck to rent it.
  17. I'm not a fan or hater of either team but that TD run by Lynch was absolutely f*ckin' awesome! To think my Packers could have traded for him. I'm not sure how good he was during the regular season but wow, what a run.
  18. H.E.A.T - Freedom Rock My first time hearing this, one spin through
  19. Pussy Sisster - Pussy Sisster This one is a good one, it only has 9 tracks but they are all good.
  20. It's not "his" lame attempt at humor. This is from The Onion, which is a well known parody/humor publication/website ala "National Lampoon" http://www.theonion.com This is just Dave's attempt at doing his OWN Onion humor...right Dave? Dave? Please tell us you know of the Onion? Really, that could be an Onion headline: American Male Pretends Not To Know About The Onion, By Writing Like The Onion
  21. Inception - makes perfect sense to me Splice - somewhat disturbing Centurion - I liked this one the most out of the 3 I watched yesterday
  22. In the mail today: Pussy Sisster - City of Angels (a CDR with limited packaging off Amazon but it got me over the $25 mark for free shipping) Pussy Sisster - S/T
