  1. The Book Of Eli OK, but a bit weird.....DW is always awesome tho.
  2. Excellent!! np Work Of Art - Artwork Lovex - Watch Out Reckless Love - s/t
  3. It was a great performance for sure!
  4. Night Ranger charged £15....and they played for 1 hour 45 mins....and they were f awesome lol!
  5. God I was talking sense there....thank God someone was ;-))
  6. Journey - Escape would be my choice....from what was an excellent year for rock. Survivor, Toto, Whitesnake, MSG, Ozzy and Y&T all produced classic albums as well. But for me my No2 album from that year would be the AWESOME Triumph - Allied Forces. A hard rock gem. Cheers
  7. Looks like they are playing O2 Islington, London on Sat 26th Nov. No idead yet if this is a co or tri headline tour....... ? Tickets look priced very competitively again at about £14 + fees......bargain!! Cheers
  8. If there is a CD out there of that quality in that era, that no-one on this board has heard of....... Well IMO that is 'a zero in 45million rarity'
  9. Wishful thinking mate, they played four. I was including LA No Name ;-)
  10. Rob Moratti - Jennie (classic Survivor through and through!)
  11. Yeah it's not really my thing - just thought it might appeal to Tim - read some guys discussing this on another board - cheers
  12. Well it's obviously not 100% album but it is bloody good! Interesting comparing it to the early classic Night Ranger albums - all I would say is this. The 5 songs they played live sat perfectly against the songs from midnight madness, seven wishes etc & arguably they didn't play the best tracks!! I would rate it close to 90% with maybe the classics in the mid 90s - great band & a great return to form for me! As for the bible - I've read better more believable stories! ;-)
  13. Yeah definitely more rocky than Final Frontier & Moratti doesn't sound like a smurf either which was a big plus!!
  14. God, this one is pretty bone crunching........... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SdNI1Ry9bFM&feature=related

  18. After hearing the excellent and truly listenable Lionsville album and the amazing Work Of Art samples, I was starting to believe that AOR was getting back on track, and this latest release and kept the fire burning. This is great stuff from beginning to end! Some marvellous rockers and great ballads, super slick stuff here...slightly chessy in places, but I love this shit. I could listen to this quality all day!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t8qB3jD5x34 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=olyiLNEliek&feature=related and the SUPER 'Standing On Top Of The World'.......this is so cool! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6tqlsvA3hUE&feature=related Surely a must have for 2011!!
  19. Outloud - Clean Hands [whenever I listen to this I have this song stuck in my head]
  20. Outloud - Love Catastrophe Bai Bang - Livin My Dream Night Ranger - Somewhere In California
  21. http://www.myspace.com/wrecklessbandsweden bit rough around the edges but this sounds pretty good....the GnR comparison aint far off. Review online - The youth of music is upon us as bands grow and new bands arrive and sprout their seeds to the world you gotta look no further because WRECKLESS has arrived. Coming off high recommendation from Liz Hellman (Dave Lepards CRASHDIET) mother and coming from the hometown of Uppsala Sweden these boys are ready to wreak havoc. The opening track “Take Me To The Action” really pushes these guy past many in the industry as they have that classic GUNS’N’ROSES style and for a band that’s still in their teens I can just imagine what the future holds. Great harmonies, slashing guitar and a thunderous arena sound what more can you ask. This is what rock is all about hard hitting in your face rock with attitude. Vocalist Jens Dyster-Aas can hit the high note with lead guitarist Robin Tiba slamming the strings. Track two “Bad Boys (Of Rock N' Roll)” holds the key to success with heavy background vocals standing out as rhythm guitarist Linus Nordermark throttling the power chords. The midsection of bassist Joakim Elm and drummer Lukas Carlsten are clearly a mainstay entity of the band. Ending the disc is “Don't Look Down” it’s a fast paced rocker that will have the fans screamin’ for more. I’m excited for these boys. I like their sound and energy and I see a bright future on the horizon. Can’t wait to hear more tracks because these guys are special!
