Having initially panned 7th Heaven for including 22 songs, I have on reflection changed my mind. This is a difficult subject cos normally I dont like albums with fillers........why have 14 tracks when 3 of them are crap....just make it 10 or 11 and be done with it. However with the case of 7th Heaven cos they have gone sooooo far over the top I can only fairly rate this album by judging the number of songs equal to the most tracks on any other album I have bought this year.....which I believe is within temptation @ 15 tracks (itunes duluxe)....so that's what Im doing - rating the top 15 songs only. Should rate pretty well I think.

I should mention I have heard this one by now too and it does kind of sky-rocket right to the top of the list. Crazy consistent, brilliant songs one after another. Hard to pick the best, purely because there's so freakin' many of them! 'Tear Down The Barricades'. I love that song. All together now......."We've got wings to fly..........". Perfect stuff IMO.

I got to the train station and had two teenage kids ask me to hand over my phone to them! Wouldnt have thought they'd want that brick Yeah, its been pretty crazy stuff. Pretty much 90% of the goings on has absolutely nothing to do with protesting over an unlawful killing, but more just opportunist looting and criminality. Most of these people are just waiting for an excuse to vent their anger and hatred of society in general. Very sad state of affairs. Thankfully I live some distance outside London and only work in the City so have been largely unaffected by the riots but I do feel very sorry for the innocent people who have had their livelihoods &/or homes destroyed by these thugs.

Airrace - Back To The Start

well, its a decent rocking tune, with a slightly dodgy chorus..............surely 'My Angel Wears White' destroys it tho ??! I think that 'solid' is the right title for this album cos whilst it has a few standouts it is definitely solid, but not more..... I absolutely love the album and it gets better with each spin and sure "My Angel Wears White" is awesome but "Samurai" is just killer IMO and the chorus is in no way "dodgy". lol, I think it is............

Backed. Even the debut reeks of mediocrity bar a few songs. Live, it was musical wank too.

I actually watched the premier TWICE, trying to give it a chance to grab my interests and it just didn't happen. I'll try to watch the next episode or two, but unless it picks up BIG TIME, I'll probably abandon this one. *The next Sci-fi series I'm looking forward to checking out is Alphas: http://www.syfy.com/alphasseries/ And of course, Terra Nova in the fall: http://www.fox.com/terranova/ Like the look of that Terra Nova....hope that will come to the UK.

Toy Story 3 (with the kids) EXCELLENT.....really enjoyed it.

The Charity.....or Community (whatever the fuck it is these days) Shield........ The commentator described it as the most remarkable Community Shield match ever! Couldn't be further from the truth......at half time I predicted that ManU would win 2-3. Guess what, I was right! Boring, predictable, Ferguson's grinning mush..................yuk. Really cant see me watching too much football this year.

IMHO every song on the new Toby Hitchcock is better than that tune The song I like the most on the Alyson Avenue is 'Amazing Days'....even if it does rip off Mitch Malloy's 'Nobody Wins In This War'. Cheers

A few more corkers - Airrace - Two Of A Kind Bai Bang - Come On Lovex - Queen of the Night Lionville - Thunder In My Heart Coldspell - Seven Wonders Shakra - Back On Track Hell In The Club - On The Road On reflection though there are at least 4 songs on the Toby Hitchcock which are better than any of these songs. Such is the quality of that album!

It's going to be something off Toby Hitchcock - probably 'Tear Down The Barricades'. Totally awesome song.
