  1. There's a song up on youtube which didn't make the cut called "Loving the Dead". Great track! Loving The Dead
  2. Although I love every band they have been compared to, I can't get into Bad City...somehow I always here some Blink182 in there
  3. Yea I saw he left the band earlier this week. It's strange how many of these newer Sleaze bands are having trouble keeping lead singers. It's a shame how many bands struggle with their singers...although in case of Dirty Penny I think there's room for improvement as I have always been put off by Binge's voice I agree with you on DP that they could become an even better band if they could find a better singer. Crashdiet - has actually found the perfect frontman IMO now with Simon although Dave Lepard was awesome but Simon is better for sleaze than Ollie is/was. Vains of Jenna - Didn't love the first album and didn't love the first singer but havne't heard anything from the new guy yet. Babylon Bombs - I think these guys lost their singer recently as well and I liked them so we'll see what happens. For some reason I thought there were some more sleaze bands with missing or new singers but I can't think of any. On the AOR front we had the change in the band HEAT. Absolutely agree with you on Crashdiet! Simon seems to fit right in perfectly and "Generation Wild" is a superb album. I'm probably in the minority, but I think Jesse Forte is the much better singer for VoJ. Seen them in May and thought they were great, so I am really looking forward to what they can come up with. Babylon Bombs have split up unfortunately...seems it didn't work out with the new guy. Backwash (Swiss band, which released their excellent debut "Kick ass" back in 2006 ) have broken up with their singer recently...too bad. H.E.A.T. could turn out very well too! Heaven's Basement lost their singer as well! Not easy to replace as he had a very unique voice imo.

  5. Just saw on Rock Candy's page that they plan to put out "The Boyfriend" in the near future! Great news!
  6. I agree it's a great song but then again I liked every song on that disc. Backed! One of my favourite discs ever, with "No More broken Dreams", "Isn't it easy" and "Beggars&Thieves" being my favourite songs. Really looking forward to the new album!
  7. Apparently they are in search of a new singer!
  8. NEH has "Caught in the Game" and "Vital Signs" scheduled for late November...
  9. Some Sleaze/Glam from Spain: Stop Stop! - Stop Stop Myspace
  10. Terrible page-design, but they sound pretty good! Once again thanx for pointing them out!
  11. Overall I'd say it's been a very good year once again! Here's my Top 10 plus upcoming contenders: 1. Crazy Lixx - New Religion 2. Crashdiet - Generation Wild 3. H.E.A.T - Freedom Rock 4. Airbourne - No Guts no Glory 5. Treat - Coup de Grace 6. Stan Bush - Dream the Dream 7. American Bang - ST 8. Buckcherry - All Night Long 9. Avantasia - The Wicked Symphony 10. Jettblack - Get your Hands Dirty Upcoming: Hinder - All American Nightmare Hardcore Superstar - Split your lip Distorted Wonderland - ST Hell in the Club - Let the Games begin Naked - Double Down especially Hinder and HCS are definately ending up in my Top10 from what I've heard so far!
  12. New (short) samples compiled to a video on their homepage...sounds very good to my ears!
  13. I like it too! Pre-ordered Double Down and I'm really looking forward to it. Their debut "This one goes to Eleven" is still my favourite, but this hopefully comes close...
  14. The tracklist is for most of the part the same as on "Virus" from Randy Piper's Animal from 2008, which was produced by Chris Laney! So, if they re-recorded those songs, I can't see them becoming better...that being said, I think "Virus" is a mighty fine album!
  15. This band sounds very good indeed! Thanx for the tip!
  16. very f nice indeed. Damnnnnn that is good sh*t.... For you guys interested in Distorted Wonderland: They are going to release their debut in December through JamSync-Music and it's looking to be a mighty fine release, judging from the sound-samples: Distorted Wonderland Samples
  17. Now, that's something that rarely happens, but they just reset the release-date and are now putting it out on November 26 already! Fantastic news and probably yet another cracking album for the 2010 Top-10 list! The first single is going to premiere tomorrow.
  18. Seems like they've already recorded their new album, which probably won't get released until early 2011! Anyway, that's great news, especially if all new songs are as good as "Critter", which they've added to their setlist. Love it! Steel Panther "Critter" live
  19. I wouldn't be surprised if H.E.A.T. gets signed by Sony (Grönwall's label)...let's see! As far as I know they are currently recording demos with Peter Mansson who works a lot together with Wikström/Thomander (from Treat), so I have a very good feeling about this whole thing.

    Pompei Nights

I like these guys a lot! They've got a new power-ballad up "Out of Bounds"...good stuff!
  21. According to their Facebook-page they are already recording demos for their next album due Spring 2011. I'm so looking forward to that!
  22. Backed! Very enjoyable affair and by far better than Black Butterfly. "Never say Never" is a real standout-track for me, one of the best tunes they've ever written.
  23. Now this is fantastic news I think! Could take them to the next level.
  24. Two new demos up on their Myspace, once again sounding awesome! These guys are great and should be easily as popular as Buckcherry. Check 'em out: MDR Myspace

    Crashdiet

"Perfect Day" is my favourite demo which was not used for TUR...massive chorus!! I can sense a lie is the demo version of what was to become Die Another Day.
