It's a long complicated story and I really don't want to recount it all. I'll try to give a short recap. In October I met this girl at work. She was new and she was really broken. Her fiancé just died a month earlier. I've been getting to know her over the last 6 or whatever months. We've become friends/ slightly something more. It's been a very bumpy road. She has lots of issues and most people have told me to stay away from her. That didn't stop me though. So as my time here is coming to an end I told her I intend to leave. That essentially ended any chance we had together. What I don't get is her actions. She's become much more affectionate with me over the last month or so. She's told me of her interest in another guy that she's friends with. I really didn't pay much attention to it. She seemed really insistent on telling me of it. People told me she was being deceptive. I really wasn't sure. What could have been the angle? Then she told me she wished she would have meet this other guy before her fiancé. Apparently her fiancé was an a-hole. That was slight cause for alarm. Then last Wednesday she shredded my heart. She told me about a dream she had. In it this other guy fixes her broken heart. As she's telling me I could feel my own heart falling apart. I didn't know why she would tell me this. She knows how I feel about her. And if this is how she feels about him why would she even consider being with me? What the hell am I exactly? As I was leaving she said "Are you ok? You seem different." I said "Never" and walked away. This last week of work I've done my best to avoid her. I really don't want to be around her any more. Of course she has no idea. She has gone out of her way to find me. She knows something is wrong. Unfortunately there isn't a good way to tell someone you don't want to be around them any more.

The topic is about women and the show is about women. Thus it's on topic. Anyway, I do have my own women issues. So I pick up information from wherever I can find it in hopes it will help me. My life really is like a soap opera right now. Not a very good soap opera, but a soap opera. A girl shredded my heart a week ago. I don't even think she knows what she did. I'm in a black hole right now. It's Cinco De Mayo and I don't even think I have the will to go to the store and buy some cheap Mexican beer.

I get what you're saying about the show Leykis. When it came to their dating habits much of the story line did seem far fetched at times. As unattractive as Carrie is how did she always have successful attractive men pursuing her? Not just pursuing her, but falling in love with her and then getting destroyed by her. Then on to the next guy. It's certainly plausible that they were so easy because that was the best shot they had at getting a guy. For rapidly aging women they were certainly picky though. By the last season most of the characters had toned it down. Miranda even started to become a decent person who cared about others. That seemed plausible. The others transformations, not so much.

I actually find Cynthia Nixon attractive. Kristin Davis isn't bad either. At one point in time Kim Cattrall was attractive. That was starting to wane by the time Sex And The City started. Sarah Jessica Parker is not the slightest bit attractive. Maybe when she was younger, but not by that point.

I recently watched the complete Sex And The City series. I realize I might have to hand in my man card for admitting that. I find the show absolutely fascinating. Are most women like that, or just certain ones? The women in that show are horrible people and for the most part they don't even seem to realize it. Most of the problems are their fault and they always blame the men. I can't understand why Big would want to be with Carrie. She makes his life miserable and somehow he's at fault.

You lost me at Foo Fighters.

I actually liked Green Lantern. It was by no means a masterpiece, but it's better than what it's given credit for.

Seriously. It's like banging my head against the wall. Yet I keep trying.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. If it wasn't for Ryan Reynolds there would be no Deadpool movie. He worked for years to get it made. So you may not like him. He even pokes fun of the things you've said in the movie. You still have to admire his resolve.

Dangerous Toys first release is very good sleaze. The second was hit and miss. And they are from Austin, Texas. As far as I know.

I'm having my own women issues right now. Trying to figure out their cryptic messages. I'm not a bloody genius. Couldn't they make it a little more obvious?

That was interesting. I get the feeling the girls have absolutely no say in the music. They just get up on stage and do as they are told.

I'm sure those "disposable" pop-metal bands didn't like having Enuff Z'Nuff lumped in with them either.

I have never got why people like this band either.

This sounds like my type of show. Unfortunately I do not get that channel.

It was a fascinating train wreck of a read. I couldn't believe it. Is this shit for real? I was in complete awe of how stupid this woman was. The scary thing to me is that it's likely due to how so many of the younger generation has been raised. They have been taught things that make no sense to a rational human being, but they believe it because that's how they were told the world works. So there is no doubt many others out there just like her. If that doesn't scare you I don't know what will.
